Now who can argue with that? I think we're all indebted to Tent Hen for clearly stating what needed to be said. I'm particulary glad that these lovely children were here today to hear that speech. Not only was it authentic frontier gibberish, it expressed a courage little seen in this day and age.

Today I went for a walk around Oxted and Tandridge; stopped off for a pint of cider on the way, and finished off with a pint of stout at the Oxted Inn (yes, a 'spoons) before catching the train back home.
I also lost my debit card. Hey ho.

I want rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers and Methodists.
I'll probably buy it when it's cheap...*

Ten, cheers for the info. I referenced ekimmu/edimmu in an upcoming halloween podcast as within the context of pre-vampire beings. I imagine I may get picked up on it but made sure I pointed out that they didn't drink blood! That comes later with Homer. I wonder how ardat-lilitu factors in this? Unsure if I have the correct version (lilit/lilitu and hebrew Lilith).

Piper Bar, which apparently won best bar in Glasgow three years running. It was ok, but I'm guessing the competition couldn't have been up to much. It lacked English real ale.

The Rangers pub across the road from NN10 has a really needy banner up telling the manager & players they are welcome for a free drink anytime. As if.
City centre pubs. Plenty of places have craft bottles. Draught? Not so sure.
Stereo, Bar19, Tabac, the lab, Blackfriars, Babbitty all have good selections. Blackfriars definitely have a few on draft.
