Agreed. Top work. The graphic design department minions have excelled themselves lately. If they keep it up they might get off tea making duties soon. Games. None. TV. Community at home, Patriot on the commute. Booze. One Elvis Juice Today is my Friday.

I think pump levels of this magnitude necessitate a new avatar.

Hallo.
Today is my Friday, so I'm at 20% working capacity counting down until 5pm.
Another 2nd place in Blackout last night. Would've been first but I ran out of ammo.

I've always wondered why teenagers were so old in those days

Morning all. They don't make 'em like this anymore... I love how the teenage kids are about 30. Until the 80s, it must have been next to impossible to get an acting job in tv or hollywood if you were under 50. Other way round now, of course.

I don't think Hollywood has changed much at all really, most leading men are in their late 30s - early 50s; Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Hugh Jackman, Daniel Craig are a few of the ones who spring to mind. There's very few bonafide stars today or in the past who were leading blockbusters at a young age (struggling to think of any, but I'm not the biggest movie buff) there's a few exceptions James Dean (unless that's just retrospective?), Leonardo DiCaprio spring to mind. The Hollywood formula basically the below: Men get older and become more manly, until they hit an age where they are the wise old hero who advises the young upstart aka star wars, Indiana Jones. Women get older and less attractive,so sack them off. (With some exceptions)

Also morning,
Games: none TV: yes, making a murderer episode 3
My old conviction of to his guilt (I think anyway, I barely remember) is beginning to waiver, it's interesting to see the retrospective look at Avery's 2 lawyers who at the time were seen as the biggest best lawyers in the state.

Yes I suppose so, though all those guys have been stars for 20 years except Craig. I had some more extreme examples in mind like the big US telly shows of the 70s - eg Quincy ME. The main cast of that must all have been at least 50. If they made it today they'd be in their 20s, or 30s maximum. (Obviously, the women that Quincy inexplicably hooks up with are all much younger).

Reg Varney in 'On the buses'. Sums it all up.

I am slightly miffed. The J.O.B. that I went for, application accepted, online test passed. Now the wankers have told me that 'due to the overwhelming response' they have upped the pass mark for the test and I have not been successful. They have not stated the new pass mark. Now they want me to do a customer satisfaction survey for the online test service. Hmmnnn...

Judy Garland was a big star in big films at a young age.
Elijah Wood was pretty young when cast to lead the LOTR films which was the most expensive film series made at the time.
