I've spent most of the day playing RDR2, and it is tremendous especially once you are past the longish on-rails first chapter. Don;t think I've bought a game at launch since Mass Effect 3, but it definitely adds something to the experience to partake of the pump first-hand.

Don;t think I've bought a game at launch since Mass Effect 3, but it definitely adds something to the experience to partake of the pump first-hand. It's spectacular isn't it? It took a while for me to get used to the controls and the movement but it was worth it. Feels like a rockstar game but grown up and you can really see the detail that's gone into every tiny part of the game. There's also a lot of noticeable influences from other game- breath of the wild and the last of us in particular. |

I too am in the snow. Although had to pause 10 mins in to go out and to work in my other job, dad's taxis. Hopefully be back on by 9.
I've gone full nerd and downloaded the companion app. Probably won't use it.

I'm not going to say I thought the Last of Us was massively overrated, but what I will say is I thought the Last of Us was massively overrated.

Most of the folk on my PS4 list are playing it. Not surprising as most are folk I met in GTA or in here. Not been on yet. Hopefully Mrs Crank is off to bed before 11.

I dont like Uncharted but loved the Last of Us. I am pretty slow on the uptake so it took me a long time to realise what the story was really about. Thought it was one of the few genuinely character-driven game stories I've played, and probably the only AAA one (plus the gameplay was good).

Saw a bloke with a rod so went to barter it but accidentally kicked a chicken. Woman starts hassling him, so he tries to push her away but ended up strangling her by accident. Next thing he has a bounty and posse after him. Dead in seconds. pc release? Can't wait.... |
