Afternoon all,
Spent more time wandering around Greece. Ship upgrades are a waste of time but a fun one at that.
My Halloween ancient history podcast is up, just look for 'Ancient History Hound' wherever you get your podcasts. It has a new name and logo in a desperate attempt to catch a listener or two.

I've been reading about players in RDR2 hogtying people up and putting them in canoes and then sinking the canoes in rivers. Have you guys done anything similarly grandiose or is all horsying around and taking on "legendary" bunny rabbits or whatever?

The worst I've done so far to someone is hogtie them to the back of their own horse and fire my gun in the air to make them run off a cliff. I'm not entirely clear it killed him, as it looked like he was still wriggling at the bottom next to his steed. It was pretty satisfying though. The second one was a kill for a quest, it was the standard hog tie and leave on train tracks, he lasted about 5 minutes before I got a notification that my honour had dropped |

I hogtied a guy who was rude to me in Rhodes and carried him to a small river and watched him drown.
It took longer than I though it would.

Only thing I know about Smash Bros is that people get very very very worked up about it Ironic really, given that the premise of the game is that it doesn't take itself too seriously. I like the humour and the gaming history conveyed through the characters, their moves, the stages and the music. I can't see why people get so worked up about the prospect of having Banjo Kazooie or Shadow the Hedgehog or whoever in the game. But I admire how Sakurai is able to deal with that rabid fanbase (he's now put a plant into the roster in response). |

Morning fellow reptilians. I could care less about Smash, but not much less. Yesterday the game truck delivered my fourth copy of Diablo 3. I started as a Wizard but it seems a bit too familiar so now I'm thinking of going back and starting over as a Neck-romancer.
In other news my underground reptile lair has been discovered by the forces of a local estates management company. Building said underground lair on the second floor of a block of flats was probably my first mistake. I'm wiggling from home and now theres scaffolding noises and banging coming from right outside the window. I may just sack it off and play BLOPSOPS.
Anyone get The Quiet Man? From the gifs it looks absolutely fantastic, in a kind of worst game ever made sort of way.

Also to reiterate that "smart" TVs are the worst, mine had decided to switch itself off last night, meaning the remote wouldn't switch it back on. Sony really need to work on their user-interaction priorities. I love it when it decides to reboot for no apparent reason (once a fortnight), when the remote stops working (pretty much once a week), the boot sequence taking ten minutes. All thanks to Sony's piss-poor implementation of Android. |

I use the voice search on my shield TV box. I like it. It's pretty good unless I'm tired or drunk.
Wouldn't use it on my phone in the wild though. Randomly on an empty train.

Nope, as mine requires a separate remote for the voice stuff and I'm using five remotes to manage things as it is :S Currently I use 4: TV remote Soundbar remote Xbox controller (if watching DVD). Humax (Digital channel box which I never use). There's probably a way to integrate it all if I looked into it. |
