Morning all! Last night I got home and fell asleep, woke up, sacked off gym and played some RDR2. I tried to kill a legendary animal, succeeded before it turned out it was just a normal animal, top work. Then went back into the snow to find a legendary gunman. I now have a sweet piece to go with my shabby cattle revolver. I'd also like to welcome Conchord 's wife/widow to the community. I for one think we don't have enough women on this board and the commitment to covering up his death by trying to fool the only people sharp enough to uncover her dastardly plans is to be commended. |

Played some RDR2. It's snowy. The controls are annoying. More thoughts like these next week if I find time to play it.

My brother and I did badly on Fortnite last night, although I did kill someone dicking around on a piano. I also experienced a weird PUBG bug where all the players got dumped in the same of the corner of the island.
Cold outside again, with a slight frost.

Cover blown already, bollocks.
Last night was mostly taken up by a meal for a birthday. Inconsiderate fuckers, it's as if they don't know I have cowboying to do.
I did manage an hour or so of RDR2. Killed a legendary buffalo, tamed a pretty white horse and interrupted a KKK meeting with the use of a stick of dynamite, only left one standing, not for long mind. Oh, also did some gambling, clearing the double down challenge and making a start on the stabby hand one.
Edit: I also found a legendary fish but haven't been taught how to catch them yet. Anyone know when I get my rod? Or do I just continue to use throwing knives and dynamite?

My free Amazon Prime trial is coming to an end shortly, so got through a couple more episodes of Jack Ryan last night.
Needs more "I'm just an analyst!"
Also to reiterate that "smart" TVs are the worst, mine had decided to switch itself off last night, meaning the remote wouldn't switch it back on. Sony really need to work on their user-interaction priorities.

Morning, Y'all seem to be doing much better in RDR2 than me. In no particular order I went... Hunting and got a turkey - the feathers let me craft some fire arrows. Sucked the poison out someone's snakebite. Had a bath with a rather lackluster err ending. Was given my choice of free gun from the shop - which I've not redeemed as I read you should wait till better stuff is unlocked. Took a train to St Denis which ended badly. Chumbles. You were before my time at the other place. Hope you stick around, in every sense of the phrase. Conchord If it is you... What colour is the boathouse in Hereford? |

You get a rod from a quest early on, in first chapter. You can probably buy one somewhere too. You met the KKK!? It's fun hearing everyone's stories but it does give me FOMO My Arthur hasn't had a bath yet either, he's going to be ripe. |

Games: no. I spent my time watching the Smash Bros. Direct a second time with commentary to figure out whether other people were equally confused. (The answer is yes.) Two things are certain: 1) you are going to get a lot of game for your buck (sorry Amipal, I meant quid) and 2) Sakurai is the king of trolls.
I own Smash Bros. 4 and Brawl, but I never played them much. The fact that 4 didn't really have anything to offer for single players was bad. But now... after exhausting the topic whilst skirting around the "Spirit" mode (explaining the screen brightness and the help menu) they finally got to the CGI scene with everyone getting vaporised (Snake in his box got a few laughs). And this all looks very tempting. A huge map, a skill tree? Yes please! That and the music library make it look to be an incredible game.
TLDR: I caught the Pump. Again.
