Morning,
TV. Ozark on the commute. Kinda getting bored of it now. I want to know what happens but can't be arsed watching it. Might jook in favour of The Wire S4.
Games. None. Too busy with...
OTTM. Sorting out a spreadsheet of school holidays, public holidays, childcare required for 2019 as I need to put in my Hols for next year.
Aaaaaghhhhhhhhhh.

I’m fairly sure most local authorities provide that sort of holiday information.

All have different holidays. Hence collating a spreadsheet of holidays and working out gaps.

Monring. The cat and I studiously ignored the fireworks last night as they are for children and the mentally feeble. Mrs T & her mum went to a display on the Plymouth Hoe. I've made some terrible life decisions.

Precious holiday days spent looking after children where gaps occur due to school holidays ending and child care not beginning and/or granny taking one of her dozen yearly jaunts in the Med are the best. Up to about 6 this year so far myself. Fantastic.
It's dark when I go to work and dark when I come home now. It's all darkness. And a little Daredevil and no games.

Morning.
Raid cancelled due to guild drama. The cycle of WoW continues.
Couldn't be arsed with RDR2, as I was already set up on the rig, so I booted up a game from the Humble Monthly 'never played yet' list (it's quite exhaustive, I should probably cancel it tbh). I doubt any of you have ever heard of it, but it was quite fun. A little shooter called Overwatch. Had a real mixed bag of games. Dominated with the transformer for a match, got destroyed the next. Went on a 15 kill streak with cowboy in a match, had 2 kills 17 deaths the next. Still good fun.
TV! Got caught up with The Gifted and watched Rick Grimes' 'final' TWD episode. Fucking cop out*. Still, it might yet do a Suits and improve after the main person leaves. Here's hoping.
*Sorry** for minor spoiler. **Not sorry.

Played way too much AoW3 last night ... finished at 3 am... my gorgeous Alice, mistress of wild magic, and her 6 hero double stack got jumped (not THAT way) by a very nasty 6 stack of a Necromancer and 5 manticores; then immediately hit by 8 revenant Titans... the battles lasted from 1 til 3 a.m. AoW3 don't let you save in battle ... the heroes, bar the ghoulified one survived, but my Fallen Angels and Eagle Riders - all elite+ - got trashed ... days of levelling up; one of the Fallen Angelshad 148 hp... *ADVT* NP2 PLAYERS You have a chance to take part in a very high quality game with other strong players. No pre-made alliances out of the box. If you sign up, you undertake to not bug out of the game until the end... so AIs should not randomly affect the play. Of course, if you do drop out no galaxy in the multiverse will be safe enoughfor you... A slow game (so sleeping isn't penalized so much! Or frequent RL interruptions, for that matter), the other guys were all invitees... Only one space left . np.ironhelmet.com/game/6056008557527040password = peace

A little shooter called Overwatch. Keep practicing, there's some serious money to be made in being good at Overwatch. I think the UK came fourth in the recent world cup as well, the South Koreans winning their third tournament in a row.

I've just signed into that game chumbles posted. Absolutely no idea what I'm doing.
Nothing new there then.
I never understood Overwatch the few times I played it either. I get the class thing ala Battlefield but no-one seemed to be doing it properly.

Hasn't exactly worked out well for you with Fortnite though, has it? Also, no. My reactions are shot already (I'm only 32). Unless I'm using a mini-gun (no accuracy required) or a guy who can make the jumpy fuckers stand still (cowboys stun grenade), I'm useless. Well, actually, I was pretty good putting up shields with the massive robot woman thing. That whole match was quite funny really. We were running three tanks and three healers on an attack/ defend type game (we were defending). The enemy team just couldn't take us out. Boring as shite but funny knowing the other team must've been banging their heads against a wall.

This is rather hypnotic and slightly shaming: I take issue with folding can take up 1/3 of the space. It's surely the same volume? Like the jumper folding though. That's worth a shot.

I liked the T-Shirt folding. It was witchcraft. Screw the t-shirt up and it suddenly becomes perfectly folded. I have tried that many many times and it does not work like that for me.
I watched what happened to the t-shirt quite closely and I have no idea how it ended up folded.

RDR2: is it actually a bit boring and fiddly. I'm still in the snow. I'll stick with it, but I'm not loving it, I have to say.
OTTM: not really.

I am no longer a fraud. I actually played a game.
RDR2
It's a slow version of GTA with nice backgrounds. From what I have played (chapter 1) it still has most of the flaws of the GTA games. Rockstar has barely advanced its gameplay since GTA3. I suppose the problem is they have a formula that is so successful it is very difficult to make major changes. On the plus side it is lavishly done and attractive and I generally like the GTA games - tho I never really got in to GTA V at all. There appears to be a lot of busywork of the sort that got Ubisoft loads of criticism in its open world games I am hoping the story will improve.
So far it is almost exactly what I expected.
Four stars

RDR2, I like my horse but it takes a long time to get anywhere it seems. Went collecting fancy stories and a few fancy shooters. Next is more busy work finding and skinning animals. More calm than GTAV until you are interrupted while having a ride in the country.

Oh I played a couple of hours of Bloodbourne last week. Technically I was never a fraud in the first place. Killed the shadows, Rom and Paarl. Entered old Yarnham fro the wrong side, spoke to the hunter and killed the blood starved beast. I did in the hunter in the grand cathedral as well.
Technically I am the best.
Bloodborne is better than RDR2.
