RDR2. Did another debt collection run and badly killed a doe. Doh.
Neptunes pride. Chumbles sent me a well thought out guide to playing that I didn't totally ignore. As is my m.o. I'm bottom of the table. 3 stars. That's not my verdict; I inhabit three stars.

Morning all,
I sense my rig is on the wane. The graphics card is starting to choke.
Given the other problems with it I'm tempted to get another rig. Nothing beastly as I use the PS4 to game with.
Sadly PC World may be my only option. Looks like I chose the wrong week to give up Simon from Norfolk...

So many messages, getting more and more passive aggressive as I ignored them and did my own thing. The best. |

Sadly PC World may be my only option. I've just been sick a little in my mouth reading that. Never go to PC world to buy a PC. It's much easier* and cheaper to build your own. Morning. More Overwatch for me last night. Contrary to Baby's advice I seem to get progressively worse the more I play. Also finally started Luke Cage s2 and the baddy is . . . another Luke Cage. Top notch writing there guys. Only watched the first episode so may be a bit premature to judge it on that alone. Tonight, raid night part 2. Let's see if the guild drama has died down . . . *In the long run. |

Surely you can salvage some bits from the setup you have already, such as the PSU, hard drive and case. It will then definitely be cheaper to source deals on CPU and MOBO combos, buy some DDR4 RAM and take the plunge on a new graphics card. You spend far less and probably get a better setup than if you bought a new PC from overclockers or such, or (and please do not do this) on the high street at PC World. |

It's pretty much all plug and play nowadays. The only 'difficult' bits are making sure you're grounded (which can be allayed by getting an anti- static band) and cable management (which can get fiddly depending on the case). The main problem with places like PC world is the bloatware that comes with Windows to 'make your life easier'. They're generally difficult to get rid of and can significantly slow your machine. Hence my 'in the long run' caveat. Additionally, it's fun to do. Not the shopping part, that's awful, but the assembly and finally getting it working parts. Can't wait to get mine under way in January! |

Hallo! I’m back in the office at a new, rubbish, desk. It’s rubbish.
It’s also raining. Berlin is very pleasant. East/Mitte Berlin is probably the only sort of town I’ve ever been, where, despite wearing almost entirely black, I still occasionally felt I wasn’t wearing enough black to fit in, this includes goth events. The beer is excellent and the kebabs excellenter.
No games and my router has died, so I am now at the mercy of virgin media. I expect to be back on multiplayers in about 2020.
