I am halfway to work. I can make it!
Played some Destiny 2 with my brother last night. It’s an awful game, really it’s blasting away on lazily put together landscapes at the same three or four types of enemy. Basically it’s a shit Halo.

Morning all.
More graphics card fun. Last week's windows update caused the card to be disabled (for some reason the updates were pushing incorrect drivers for it).
Yesterday's updates caused the same problem. 2 hrs spent reinstalling drivers which wouldn't detect anything had me booked in for a trip to Clifton. Then, for no reason, it started working.
I could definitely do with this sort of thing more in my life.

Morning!
Bit of RDR2. There was finally a game of poker in progress at Saint Dennis so I cleared the fifth (I think) gambler challenge, bust out a player at the three different tables. Also did another story mission and captured the leader of the Lemoyne Raiders (bounty). Then, as I was getting sleepy, I switched to Overwatch and had a real mixed bag of games, again. My current favourite mode is random heroes, means you get to use some you generally wouldn't pick. This lead to a couple of good runs, notably with Wrecking Ball and Mercy, two heroes I never use, along with a couple of real shit shows with Lucio and Reaper. Finally getting to play as Ashe was good too, although dying just as I had the massively OP special charged was a bit shit.

Mild here in the big smoke. No red dead last night, lots of community and lots of sleep. Into season 3, so powered far ahead of crank. Sad that it's all down hill from this season on.

I broke down and ordered a 850W Gold PSU to ensure my new 1080 runs smoothly, (also means I can update the cpu at a later date), that'll be fun to install |

Windows wankers. Chuck all in the bin and get a Mac. Most of the games you want to play aren’t on it so it’s not a problem any more.
Games - loads of Diablo, it’s awesome having it on Switch, even though I’m basically just running around holding down the disintegrate button. Top banana.
OTTM - my main aim for today is to become more caffeine than man, which is impossible unless I turn nto some kind of hollow caffeine receptacle.

It seems that those nice people at M$ in their latest compulsory update somehow wiped a random 40% of my datafiles besides trashing all my settings ... Having fucked me over many times with buggy bugfix bugfucks, I back up all data once a week to my NAS, once a fortnight to my fileserver and once every month or so to my shockproof ruggedised security HDD. Excessive? When you've twice had to recover from the original CDs and DVDs... |

I've been roped into attending a 'The Craft Beer Experience' in Edinburgh tonight. £15 in and you're still paying for your beer, from what I can see. On the plus side, there's some decent beers on the tap list and I've just taken delivery of a 'Sweater Shop' jumper from eBay so I'll be the biggest wanker in a crowd of wankers. |

PC wankers (myself included), there's a pretty good deal on a monitor on Amazon at the minute. Acer Predator 1440p, 165hz for £384. Sorely tempted to snap one up. Just unsure of whether I could sneak it past the wife . . .
