Wall of rant
I used to work on an IT help desk once a week, (due to lack of staff), and had to deal with difficult problems both about IT and the subject it supported, all calls were sorted out either on the phone or later that day, others were referred to other people the majority were fixed by the next day at the latest, if not they were chased, this was on top of constant emails.
EDF on being asked how to manually submit an E7 reading, which requires 2 readings, from their new smart meter, (signal too bad to send automatically), had one answer "press button B and give me the numbers under TAI", when I pointed out that this was only one number, they repeated the advice, when I suggested that pressing button A gave 2 numbers that seemed reasonable, they went away, copied and pasted advice from the online manual and asked if that helped, this happened on 2 live chats and a phone call last year and one live chat today. The final phone call confirmed my dangerous suggestion of using the numbers from button A was indeed correct.
tl;dr: EDF Customer service 4*

Hello I can confirm scubars assertion that RDR2 is indeed the best. Last night I happened across two blokes trying to bust open a safe. I shot them both then tried to shoot the safe. That didn't work, so I scrolled through my inventory until I realised I had some dynamite. Chucked a stick at it, but for some reason it didn't occur to me to move away from the immediate area. I also shot and skinned a cougar, for some mission-related reason that I wasn't really paying attention to.

I've been roped into attending a 'The Craft Beer Experience' in Edinburgh tonight. £15 in and you're still paying for your beer, from what I can see. On the plus side, there's some decent beers on the tap list and I've just taken delivery of a 'Sweater Shop' jumper from eBay so I'll be the biggest wanker in a crowd of wankers. Will you be wearing the hat?

I'm fine I've had the theme tune from 'Open All hours' in my head every morning for 3 days. 4**** Then, 'Volunteers' by Jefferson Airplane. Seems pretty relevant considering the politics at the moment.* *I may be wrong

I'm not going down the Pokémon route just yet, I've played Pokémon Yellow relatively recently when they re-released it on 3DS, I haven't finished Pokémon Moon and my backlog is bad. But I think I would always go with Pikachu. I'm a Pikachu kind of girl. Sorry, Eevee.
Keef's got an article about Sony pulling out of E3 next year, I heard about that last night and I for one am very disappointed. No-one was asking them to spend a lot of money on multiple locations and flute and banjo players last year, they could have done a smaller event. In the wake of the cross-platform play controversy it really looks as if they want to separate themselves from the competition.
(I like E3. Harrumph.)

RDR2. Left the Mexican banditos camp up in the snow and made my way back to the main camp Arthur's mob are at. Killed a cougar. Still no legendary beasts. Not looked at the new treasure map yet. Went to bed. Hopefully some proper mission action tonight. Still to go rescue the guy from prison etc.

Hello all.
Heard about the job I interviewed for a few weeks back - no dice. Apparently I aced the interview, and they were more than happy to provide training for me for the skills I lacked. But the other chap already had said skills and web design experience.
Oh well.
So two pints of Guinness and late to bed last night, and as a result I am working from home today.

Mm, I had a job interview this week. I absolutely nailed* it and they offered me the job that afternoon.
What I'm saying is, perhaps you're just not good enough.
*I was the biggest guy in the room, so I started by punching myself repeatedly in the face, until I fell on the floor naked and unconscious. Thanks Blog Hivemind, you're the best.

At this point Sony would have to make an incredible balls up for me not to buy a PS5.
Worse than they did with PS3 launch.
I'm not that interested in cross platform play with the American racists, the Nintendo pre-teens an the PC Master Race.
I'm sure they will do something around E3, even if it is just a 30 second video of farting at the Donald.

Wfh because you had 2 pints of Guinness and went to bed late, and you want to change job? Mm ... I ... I drank 8 pints of rubbish generic lager and three Jager Bombs at an appalling Bier Keller and went to bed late last night because I'm alive. I was quite late to work this morning.

E3 saved my wife's life. Seriously.
A few years back (2015, maybe>) I was staying up late watching the SquEnix presentation at around 2am (they were actually announcing Nier: Automata at the time) when I heard her throwing up in the toilet*. When I went to check if she was ok/ take her a glass of water she wasn't making any sense. One call to 999 and a six hour wait in hospital later, we discovered** she had encephalitis caused by meningitis. If it had gone much longer without diagnosis, i.e. if I'd have gone to sleep and not heard her, she would've ended up with brain damage or, very likely, dead.
Therefore E3 cannot be bad, so, by default, Sony must be. Bastards.
*We were in separate rooms because she'd been having headaches and feeling sick and didn't want to keep waking me, she's good like that. **'We' being the good doctors and nurses, not me.

It took the entire life of the console to catch up with the 360's lead. And the cell architecture was difficult to program for. It is why there are very few PS3 games on PS4.

Booze boasting? Low.
2 Leffe, a bottle of OK Oz red, then another bit of rather better French red, just to be on the safe side. I was no later than usual this morning but I do still have a stupid tune stuck in my head. No idea why as I’ve mostly been listening to Behemoth and Tribulation, and they’re not really catchy, hum along numbers.
