Afternoon, I is back with another update on the dog, games, and OTTM.
Dog - he has a hormone deficiency that means his pee leaks so now both he and I are on hormone replacement medication for the rest of our short lives (mine's thyroid stuff). Games - having finished the story of God of Worv (and my, what a ride that was), I am attempting to get the platinum. Last night I summarily cheesed the second Niflheim realm tear by endlessly circling the Nightmares and Revenants with my shield up, having the boy shoot the Nightmares so they couldn't disable him, and then once the Nightmares were temporarily absent (they infinitely respawn from Revenant magicks) having him shoot the Reventans themselves, occasionally using both my and his special (his being Wolf Attack Max, mine being time distort to get off a well-aimed axe throw at one of the buggers). Took about twenty minutes but they eventually went down. Worst fight in the game so far, although I appear to be under-levelled for this one.
OTTM - Christmas is coming.
Sorry to hear about the dog. GoW - it was a great game, I didn't have any wish to keep playing it after the ending though, the game didn't have enough go grab me after the story |

I'm just lashing out as I have zero platinum. I got close in Rime (I know) but got bored. Thought about it in Rise of The Tomb Raider, but the list is ridiculous. Similarly, after getting 100% on the first Red Dead I considered it, but again got bored.
Yes, bored, no other reason.
I'm a failure.

I’ve been stripping wallpaper, decided to let the dogs out as they were looking like they needed to go. One of them decides now is the time to jump the fence. And then the next fence. Luckily my neighbours were in and didn’t mind me going in to get her. Little ratbag. Anybody want a dog?

Prawn, garlic & chili pizza* for dinner, with side salad & South African red.
My second, more organised attempt at beating that Octopus Sealslapper boss who was hogging the Runelord job has been successful, although it was still an epic battle. Very satisfying. Now best girl Tressa is my Runelord (Runelady?). Takes some time getting used to, packs a serious punch. Now in a new town, going nuts for more nuts.
I don't think I would have cared for the trophy/achievement if the game (or indeed any game) had that, but if there's a skill tree to climb, characters, weapons or abilities to be unlocked, a map to be uncovered and magical doo-dahs to find I want it all and I want it 100%.
*not homemade, alas. Still tasty.

1) I'm drunk,
2) You all aren't worth it and wouldn't recognise a considered response if it punched you on the nose, and
3) I have platinums on both DS2 and Rime so I don't need the validation from you because I got it from games.
