Conchord are you registered deaf? Have you tried listening to Nick Knowles' album? I think you'd like it. I think he's more of a William Shatner Live (1977) fan. That album is a classic. Though I do prefer the compilation Spaced Out, as it features the best of Shatner AND Nimoy. |

It's easy to like the people you work with if you WFH I don't know where to begin with how wrong this is. Come at me. To be honest, it mostly works the other way round in my experience, if you WFH people in the office hate you. People working from home do not do any work 99% of the time. I've had bosses ring me in meetings in fucking cafes with their kids there. Interrupting the conference call with "I'll butter your bread in a minute Jess, daddy's on the phone" It's supposed to be working from home, not work paying for your fucking baby sitting. Another example, I was WFH yesterday, logged on the PlayStation and faceless is playing RDR2, bold as you like. The absolute cheek. |

OTTM: Apparently the booking system at the hotel I run part time has gone wrong, according to Cat. She seemed quite certain I should have been expecting her, and any surprise I had at the idea I run a hotel was my fault. A 4am face licking, using affection to exacerbate my minor cat allergy, was most enjoyable, for one of us.

TV: finished War & Peace. What a great day out for the re-enactment society that was.
Games: stumbling through another maze to find the final boss for Primrose's last chapter. I think I've found the exit now, getting ready to do battle.
Because I got tempted by the filthy lucre reward for digital pre-ordering of Smash I won't have the game early. Which is just as well as I need to go and find my GameCube controllers and the required adapter. I bought the controllers when Smash 4 came out and had pre-ordered the game bundled with the adapter from Amazon. It turned out that Nintendo in typical fashion was surprised that people wanted to buy their products and didn't supply enough adapters. Loads of controllers, not enough adapters.
Luckily for them they weren't on The Apprentice, where such a basic mistake would have got them fired immediately. I got an Amazon voucher as an apology and only managed to get my adapter many months later, by which time I didn't feel all that much like playing Smash, particularly since 4 didn't have single player.
Tonight is the Game Awards thingy, starting at 1 a.m. No thanks, I'll catch up in the morning. Last year I sat through the whole thing and it went on for what felt like three hours. It might actually have been three hours.

I watched a couple of episodes of La Mante on Netflix last night. Pretty good gruesome whodunit, bit like the Bridge except in French.
It's my work Xmas lunch today. Dreading it. Can't even drink as I need to drive later.

Hello friends.
I stopped playing Fortnite months ago because I'm not (questionably) an absolute reject.
I played through more of chapter 6 of Red Dead last night and it turns out I'm coming up to the end of the game apparently.
I'll stay up for the Game Awards tonight just to see more of Norman Reedus doing his deliveries. I wonder if he red slips folk for not being home? |
