People still chew it here in Canada but it is all kinds of awful for you and the spit everywhere is nasty This is related and shows off my worldly knowledge. In Myanmar they chew Paan, which is similar but way more disgusting. Completely rots the teeth and they spit out red stuff, which stains everything. The pavements there are covered in it. Et moi..... I worked with minority communities in the North where they chewed the betel nut leaf or something....same thing hey? Bad for you as well as mucky....

Trump declares the war against IS won; for its part the US troops were in bunkers or shipboard 'helping' their client group fighting on the ground, the Kurds... as they pull out they completely stitch them up by ceding their role in Northern Syria to that well-knows friend of the Kurds, Turkey under that champion of human rights Recep Tayyip Erdoğan... and those other splendid supporters of democracy; Bashar al-Assad and Vladimir Putin who had no effect on the US election. No sirree...
Trump "I’m here today to continue the proud tradition of bold American diplomacy. From the earliest days of our republic, American leaders have to understand that diplomacy and engagement is preferable to conflict and hostility. A productive dialogue is not only good for the United States and good for Russia, but it is good for the world." Helsinki, July 2018
"I can do business with Vladimir Putin"... he evidently has and continues to do so...

Global warming will resolve the cold. I don't know what you are worried about.

That's the same thing, but the nut and the leaf combined is paan I believe. What work did you do with the minority communities? The rohingya? I only got as far north as Mandalay- because I'm a classic millenial and only went on a glorified holiday. Its still my favourite place I've ever been, I absolutely adored it and it fucking devastates me to see what it's become. So many people quietly put their faith in Suu Ki and she's fucked them.

Sorry I didn't make myself clearer, North of England! I had friends who went out and worked in border areas such as with the Thai minorities way back in the 90's......

It's a difficult question in many ways, and I can see why there are different sides to the debate, but, for me, as I see it, personally, and it's just my opinion, for what it's worth, I think Corbyn was wrong. He should have called the stupid cunt a stupid cunt, and he should apologise if he didn't call the stupid cunt a stupid cunt. Because, basically, the stupid cunt is a stupid cunt.
