Does this mean you can finally get all the pot holes sorted for us next year? Or does the head need another pay rise? I hear he's not happy with his current deal, being paid more than the PM, despite managing one of the most economically poor areas of the country. I hate our council, and they won't let us break away either. Thornexit now! No offence, Wolfy. These problems were there long before you. I dont understand why Thornaby is part of Stockton. When nature gives you a natural boundary use it.

I dont understand why Thornaby is part of Stockton. When nature gives you a natural boundary use it. The usual reason, money. On 'our' side of the river is Teesdale, Teesside Park and a hell of a lot of Council Tax payers (rather than those who have it paid for them*). Stockton would lose a whole chunk of their income if Thornaby went independent. * This is in no way a criticism of those people.

Anyway, enough sixth form local government drivel, we've cleared out the rest of the box.
Game chat, go!

Nope, it's law throughout the EUROPEAN UNION that you must carry a driving license with an accurate photo of yourself ... and as said driving license is a 2 part document they can require you to present your sorry arse at a fuzz box with both sections to see if you have any fresh endorsements...
It is not two part. The counterpart was abolished on 8 June 2015. There is no need to carry your licence with you. You can present it later. True, I see, in the UK; but in France, where they carry guns... www.justlanded.com/english/France/Articles/Travel-Leisure/Traffic-Police ... I stopped driving in 2013 when my feet got so bad I couldn't guarantee I could do a decent emergency stop; I've just given my Polo to next door's girl. It would only get £2-300 and they help me out when I need it.

I think Werther's Originals are the usual sweet of choice, polos are more for horses.

Octopath Traveller- I’m now (nearly)finished chapter two for four of the eight characters - just have Olberic final battle. Already having to grind a bit between fights, but I’m loving it! The story takes some dark turns at times, prostitution, human trafficking and blood sacrifices- so far! Apropos the story, I was curious to check the game's PEGI rating. Turns out that it's 12, with a somehow incongruous description: Seems there's a lot you can get away with if you use cutesy sprites in your game (although I can't really think of any 12 year-olds who would want to play this).

Just seen the front cover of this month's National Geographic Kids magazine in the petrol station.
I hope shenguin is getting royalties for use of his image

Pretty good, but the last two lines don't rhyme. Shouldn't you be wearing a santa hat? Thank you Destry! I spent about an hour trying to work out how to do that the other day, and failed. I am not very good at computers.

No time for games. Dinner was roasted duck legs with rice, gravy and roasted butternut squash, accompanied by a Perdeberg Cinsault. Just to give Mr Tent Rooster something to remember when he washes down the frozen lasagne with a glass of tears.
Also watched Christmassy Ted. You've reminded me that 'tis the season.

Doesn't Amipal leave near enough to fly drones near a certain area AND have the technical camera knowledge for snapping certain types of transport?
Hmmm, another case solved Holmes....
