You start wondering if they're right, but the balance of probabilities is that they are being a professional imbecile, for so a doctor may ask a patient: "And how are we feeling today?". This is 'caring' - a lot of the time they do care and it helps them cope with the agony they're inflicting. But with a few it is simply a cover for the reverse. Those, like the Queen Bitch, use it to determine how much they can short-circuit and transgress hygiene procedures in order to get out of the house as fast as they can. There's only one of those on the team that treats me. The outlaws have been dealt with in a timely manor, the leftovers have been finished, I tried to sleep through the fireworks last night and leg nogg is but a twinkle in my mothers eye. The festive period is complete! Thank fuck for that tbh.
Games - been playing a lot of cod of blops blackout quads, it’s a lot of fun when you get a good team. Less so when your team ‘mates’ blow up the quad bike you are riding and then run you over.
Other games that matter - back into monster hunter (the good version) on switch, it’s tremendous. Also some of that subnautica. Very relaxing and good preparation for 2019. BFV - having found the mode where there are planes and you can parachute and stuff, it’s a whole lotta lotta fun. Some light smashing too. Also tempted to pick up Okami in that switch sale. And Tetris effect! Truly all the games have been plaid. There will be no further games, shut it all down.
Oh and Ace Wombat comes out in a week or two but just before the outlaws are 'staying for ‘a month or two’ so I may not get to play it any time soon.
What’s everyone playing on Switch these days? Did tenth hen finish octopus traveller?

I'm certainly confuzzled and feeling a bit dicky today. I blame the fizzy wine.
I'm trying to do some online grocery shopping with Ocado (I know, I know... peak middle class) and they've got two new categories - New Year New You, which covers "Veganuary, Lighter Options, Snacks under 100 Calories, No Added Sugar, Stop Smoking, Weight Management and Get Active" and Dry January. I'm feeling that I should withhold my custom if they want to be like that.
Have I finished Octodad Travel Insurance? I wish I had had time to play any game over the "festive period" (I always want to throw a couple of tampons at this term). The new year can only get better.

I’ve been here for a couple of days, heading back this evening. Last night I went to a concert for New Years, where the countdown started as one of the acts was mid song. I kind of felt sorry for him, as everyone stopped paying attention. It was also kind of funny though.
Hope everyone enjoyed their New Years celebrations and aren’t paying the price today.

I was thinking of doing dry January, but apparently it also includes beer, even though it is basically a soft drink.
