Games, a little mooch in elite. Need to find some task to get interest back in it rather than just mot really doing anything. Ass auto-camel, reached a point where things change and got a bit stuck, I know its very close to the end of the main quest but cant be bothered to put in the effort to finish it off with what happens.

Morning. Oof.
I haven't had much sleep because for some reason I actually stayed up and watched the Game Awards through a Youtubers live stream. Three hours and they didn't even mention the winners of all categories at least in passing because they were too busy showing trailers and advertising Ubereats doing MacDonalds or something like that. It was weirdly mesmerising.
Some of the highlights were:
- BFFs Kojima and del Toro presenting one of the awards and Kojima later showing off a new almost 10 minutes long cinematic trailer for Death Stranding. I urge you to check it out because that was something else
- Josef Fares saying "fuck the Oscars", giving the finger to camera and having to be cut off by showing a clip for his new game. Check that out, too, words can't do it justice
- Andrew House, who's stepping down as CEO of PlayStation, prompting everyone in the chat to spam "F" (to pay respects)
- Eiji Aonuma cosplaying as Link the whole evening. I don't think I've ever seen him so happy as when he accepted the award for Best Game. They also showed off the Zelda DLC which includes Link swapping his horse for a motorbike
Poor Horizon Zero Dawn didn't win a bean, but Hellblade did well and Persona 5 is best RPG.
Dino's already pointed out that Bayonetta 3 is coming. Now if only the Guardian games section would report on all of this instead of asking Jack about the best computer for Minecraft
