Hello, I have played no games the last few days. I have an interview tomorrow for a job only a tiny bit vaguely linked to what I do now. Not entirely sure what to do after I’ve punched the biggest guy in the room. Tell them you know how to make tea as well as coffee. They'll never believe that. |

I got some of that cod of blops in last night somehow. Hid in a bathroom for about ten minutes only for someone to chuck a grenade through the door and then come in to finish me off.
One of the outlaws made a bold play as I was getting ready to go out to work this morning - using the toilet to do god knows what, without closing the door. A real power move in someone else's house. I think they basically own the place now.

Remind me to avoid Shenguin's house. Not only has he got the Shenguins (highly contagious, to judge by the number of cases in the box alone) but the whole place reeks because he doesn't close the bathroom door whilst taking a dump.

Octogenarian Travel Ban report: I finished H'aanit's story and another side quest. Picked up the third item that's needed for a quest at the far side of the map that I've already tried to solve twice. Sigh. Picked up two more side quests. Got the name of the final, final boss spoilt by reading a YouTube comment that was asking whether anyone had been able to beat that final, final boss. Idiot.
Octopus Travelodge Tip of the Day: enemies don't have a health bar, but if you select them pay attention to the font colour of their name. White means they are in good health, yellow means their health is about half way down, and red is a serious case of the Shenguins.
Telly last night: more ABC Murders. They have ways to put you off your food, e.g. fried eggs.

I can see why some people are "fuming", though I'm glad of the difference from all the other versions of the damn story that I've seen also JM, apart from the wandering accent, is really good and surprisingly so is Rupert Grint |

We've got a God botherer in trying to create a website. He's asking for a lot of my help. I'm losing my patience.
He's never used wordpress before and not liking my suggestions. If you don't want my suggestions don't ask for help. Try praying instead for tips on password creation and basic fucking IT stuff.

Glad Degu is feeling better - I think the limp is just a ploy to show how much of a trouper he is after finally shaking off the New Year hangover.
Games! - Elite prep continues... I went for the Guardian FSD boost, and took all morning to get the blueprint, tech modules and power cells; found the tech broker, who had the audacity to ask for 21 focus crystals. ok thinks I - bit of a grind but will be worth it... 4 hours later and I've only managed to collect 3 of the things. Launch is not til 13th, but I've precious little game time before then so I may be going as I am.
Oh and during the session I covered about 1500 light years, and lost 10% of my hull to stoopid driving. I am wondering just how far of the planned 200,000 ly I am going to cover before my ship becomes a small ball of tinfoil drifting between the stars.
I'm going to die aren't I?

This elite game sounds top notch. Basically like having a second job.
I think I actually own it, maybe even on the polystation, but had no idea what was going on. I remember playing the original(?) on the Archimedes, top stuff.

6 weeks on antibiotics and regular check ups. I'm beginning to think he's just a junkie. Every time we go there he comes away with more drugs. Good news is he doesn't have to be cut open again. gongfarmer, good luck with Distant Worlds. Too much commitment there for me. I love Elite every time I pick it back up, but I couldn't do exploration for 8 straight months. Just make sure to get friendly with those who are carrying repair bots! |
