I played PUBG (Yes, again) last night but tried the FPP view for the first time. It felt more like a typical online shooter like this but it had terrible desync. I did kill someone though as I third partied another fight and picked off the winner like the vulture I am. Two more games with TPP view followed, in which I did terrible.
Watched Fear the Walking Dead too.
Day 3 of no booze.

Shitty old 314 class train. Pah. Fuck you scotrail. No BOTW then. Pah.
Hello. Games you say. Double MC deliveries in GTA. Will it ever end I ask myself? Will I ever end myself you ask.
TV. None.
Books. Some crime thing set in Edinburgh. One of the cops has the surname Begbie which is quite disconcerting and off-putting. Like ah say.
It's payday. Huzzah.
Wiggle it just a little bit, I want to see you wiggle it just a little bit, as it grooves

Morning!
KC:D. Finished the last of my side quests, which involved grave robbing, gambling and picking people to carry shit. All in a days work for a knight. Then finally got on with the main quest, escorting the Lord on a hunt. Ended in a good scrap so all's well. Now, apparently, an army has begun its invasion so I'm off to war. Tally Ho! Sorry to disappoint, but no secs this time.
Degu! Turns out his immune system didn't develop when he was young, so all the bad turns he's had are likely due to this. This now means that we'll be having trips to the vets for antibiotics whenever he gets even a minor infection. On one hand, happy to know what it is finally, on the other, sad for the little fella, can't be fun. Anyway, he definitely had his appetite back, as I spent most of last night hand feeding him (his lack of balance means he can't stand and eat properly). Hopefully the drugs will kick in soon and he'll be back to his usual self.

ConchordHappy to hear he's on the up now. Morning all! Last night I had a visit from a mate to pick up his prints - his photo-printer suddenly stopped printing black. In the process of printing his photos for him, I noticed that my printer had developed some banding. Luckily I spotted it before he arrived. It also had my looking at my prints for this week's competition, and sure enough there was banding on one of them. So a reprint in order. Phew. If that wasn't exciting enough, I also cleaned the cooker hob. AC: Odyssey- carried on exploring Atticka, and did some odd jobs here and there. It really is a massive game.

Killed it.
What's everyone had for breakfast? I had porridge with a peanut butter cup melted in and an unremarkable cup of coffee (plus two more peanut butter cups because they come in packs of three . . .).

'An aroma of paint stripper and abandoned mattresses'.
Much like Shenguin's gaff, then.

A smoothie of oats, banana and berries. I made it in my £15 Breville blender, so it's more of a roughie really.
My boiler has been repaired. The fan needed replaced, and getting it took a couple of days. I'm pretty chuffed it only cost £130 to repair, but my cold is probably still lingering as my house was freezing while it was at its worst.
Games? No, but I want to get back to FFIX and Yakuza 2.
OTTM? Having a working shower is the only thing that matters.

No breakfast.
I'm still waiting for death to take me. In the meantime, I ate two vegan Beyond Burgers last night. One I cooked from frozen in the oven to have with my dinner. The second I had later in the evening for supper, frying it from chilled.
I didn't think they had much taste, but the fried one was better. They were unusually lacking density compared to most burgers. The texture wasn't unpleasant, but it didn't resemble a meat burger particularly. They were still red in the middle, but I'm not sure how important that is. They failed to develop any of the delicious fatty sweet flavours where they were charred on the outside. They were basically quite poor, especially considering they cost over £5 for two. I am disappointed if this is the standard of the new breed of ultra-realistic vegetarian / vegan burgers. I would suggest that they have massively over-played their hand, but it wouldn't be the first time clever marketing wins the day.
I still reckon that Linda McCartney's Mozzarella burgers are by far the nicest and meatiest available, though they are not vegan. They also contain palm oil which the packaging does not confirm is certified as sustainable. I understand this is because they use particular fractions of palm oil rather than straight palm oil, and because of the low global levels of demand for these fractions, it is not available as certified sustainable, but that Linda McCartney do use the mass-balance system for their fractions (a system whereby the palm oil refinery uses a mix of sustainable and non-sustainable palm oil to create the fractions it sells to its customers, and that the sustainable palm oil they use is always at least equivalent to the amount that gets sold to Linda McCartney). I once had too much time on my hands.
Top 5 food disappointments: 1) Accidentally eating a coconut flavoured Quality Street because some bastard in the office had mixed the end of the Quality Street in with the Roses. Worst. Thing. Ever. 2) Eating boiled eggs two mornings in a row in a holiday cottage in the Yorkshire Dales, wondering why the eggs tasted so fowl. Then realising the spoons were silver, and boiled eggs taste disgusting if you eat them with silver spoons. True fact. 3) Vegetable paella in Spain, so salty I couldn't eat it. It was disgusting. 4) Beyond Burgers 5) My mate's posh wedding where his friends only got invited to the evening reception, and the evening buffet basically disappeared in seconds. I ended up having a cheese and onion Ginsters from a garage on the walk back to the hotel. I travelled over 1000km to go to that wedding and was very hungry.
tl:dr? meh

Morning nerds.
I am still smited by a serious case of the Shenguins. Even though I had it first, but if there's one thing about us Millenials it's that we don't whinge like you old fossils.
Games? Yes! I played some more Steep. Whoever it was who said it would get repetitive (rolling or crank?) Are correct. On the other hand I've marmalised more of their high scores, suckers.
TV? Yes! The office (US version) Dwight schrute may be my favourite character in anything ever. What a hero.
Breakfast? Yes! I also had a smoothie, oat, protein powder, a banana and spinach. Washed down with my bodyweight in OJ and a lemsip.
Come at me Wigglers

Games? Yes! I played some more Steep. Whoever it was who said it would get repetitive (rolling or crank?) Are correct. On the other hand I've marmalised more of their high scores, suckers. My scores were primarily the work of a 9 year old boy, you bully. Morning! I am basically just working non-stop this week. It is a truly horrendous shock to the system, and I can already feel myself starting to come down with a dose of the shenguins. I also can't exercise because I injured my foot walking up a hill, my left arm getting out of the bath, and my right arm lifting a box of records. I thought things were looking up last night when I looked in the box of records and found issue 1 of '2000AD presents Crisis' from about 1988, autographed by the artists/writers, which I thought I had lost, and a quick look on ebay established that mint copies of this are going for anything between £4 and £6. So at least that's something. No games, no telly, some gin.

Morning
Breakfast.... broken biscuits lunch...... probably more broken biscuits
I wondered about buying that 3kg box for £3 before xmas but thought it would be a good distraction if the grandkids came round and wanted to raid the 'good stuff'.
GAMES! I've heard a rumour of the 'bug-killer' - a crashed NPC ship which can be farmed for rares, so I might yet score the 18 more focus crystals I need for my FSD booster, if I haven't keeled over with acute biscuit poisoning
