Looks like the rumours of the new AMD GPUs were only half right, they do perform at the level of the RTX 2080 (but without Ray Tracing) but also will cost about the same.

What's that feeling you have when a funeral home reminds you that you haven't picked up the ashes of your mother after 2 years?
<edit> Dead mother, I know how literal some of you can be

With regards to AMD - a 7nm graphics card that uses less power might mean better laptop gaming.

You should probably have asked for them to be scattered there. That would prevent vague nagging feelings.

Ashes are best scattered outside. Whenever kept inside they inevitably end up in some comic mishap. Hoovered up, eaten by pet, snorted etc etc

Ashes are best scattered outside. Whenever kept inside they inevitably end up in some comic mishap. Hoovered up, eaten by pet, snorted etc etc That is true. But before one is able to organise a gathering of friends and/or family or pick up the courage to do it on one's own to scatter them at a suitable location the crematorium is the safest place for them, so there's no need to feel bad about it. In Germany the scattering of ashes outside a cemetery is verboten, so the funeral usually just consists of burying the urn not too long after cremation has been arranged by the undertaker. No dithering there. Mr Tent Rooster's parents, on the other hand, died within less than a year of each other, and it took us some years still to gather the clan and organise a combined scattering in the Highlands, but until then the ashes were kept in those glorified shoe boxes at the crematorium. Anyway, that's not to speak of the comical mishaps that can happen when scattering ashes - the wind abruptly changing direction probably being the most common one.

A nice post Tenthen. I should try it.
My GRANDFATHER'S ashes were scattered on a canal, near his home in Lancashire. A place he used to tell me he was able to, in certain winters, ride his bike due to it being frozen.
