My quad game of Neptune's Pride is already in its virtual third day; I am sat like a massive target atop the leaderboard... this is so NOT the position I wanted to be in. I'm in that position, frankly, because my neighbours are desperately incompetent ... I've gone to the trouble of messaging them and leaving them vacant stars to take, offered advice, etc., but they've either remained silent or sent a back weird message "thanks my brother from another mother". That last from the Gungan Grand Army has steadfastly stuck to a 'grow tall' strategy which don't ever work. So all of these guys will either go to their beds and go afk or realise their desperately flawed strategy won't work, and quit. The resulting hostile AIs will hate me (atop the leaderboard), magically share their tech and lay siege to me. The 4 really competent players on the other side of the galaxy will be down to a really strong 3-way alliance. 10 hrs. in and I am already going to have to play out of my skin (ouch) to merely survive, let alone win. And the AIs will make sure I don't get any sleep ...  |

Was convinced my earbuds had fallen out of my pocket in a busy Glasgow Central. Meanwhile RATM played through said earbuds into my head. Hmmm

TV. Started s4 of The Wire on the commute yesterday. Chatty women on the train home has possibly taken the hint or the 10 days off has helped.
Games. GTA MC deliveries whilst my pal vented about his ex &or child access.

Did my first chapter 4 mission in RDR2 last night. Got my hair and 'tasche trimmed in St Denis and then walked round a Swamp with my shotgun. Four stars.
I've also woken up with an urge to go and get my real hair and beard trimmed this morning.

Morning!
Last night consisted of a bit of KC:D and a bit of arson, sprinkled with hand feeding Basil again as he now feels this is how he should be raised. Little bugger has his balance back but still likes to be fed whilst lounging in bed.
KC:D! Nothing of note. As in, a game breaking bug + not saving for a long time = losing all progress made in the preceding two hours.
Arson! Neighbours car was set on fire ~22:30 last night, just as I'd settled for an hour on Fallout 76, the bastards. Our cameras caught it all so should be expecting a visit from the popo tonight. Props to the Fire Brigade though, on the scene just 6 minutes after the fire was started. Car was still fucked by then, mind.

Unplanned curry last night - Mrs gong came home with a chicken vindaloo for me and something less damaging for herself. On top of a diet of biscuits this led to a night of heartburn, and thankful I no longer car-share.
Games- DW2 prep continues in Elite. I found the 'Bug Killer' and farmed relentlessly. Lots of rare mats are hoarded, unfortunately it didn't spawn one miserly focus cryatal, so I still only have 3 of the 24 I need. My last hope is to find a trader who will take the other mats I was able to get and trade them for the crystals I need.
Word on the grapevine is that the Smiling Dog Crew, the most reviled group of griefers and gankers in Elite history will also be travelling out on this expedition, along with the infamous 'Harry Potter', who has form for disrupting player events in spectacular fashion. Imagine the fun his heavily armed fleet will have against 8000 unarmed ships in the arse end of space. One thing i'll give the SDC though, things are rarely dull when they are around.
I'm still going to die, aren't I? But maybe in a bloodbath instead of faceplanting a star

Morning all. I'm back in the office! People even recognise me! Finished Lost in Space last night. A good series, and happy to see that there's a second series in the works. Also mounted my prints for tonight's open print competition. Both images printed on "metallic lustre" paper, do they have this nice sheen to them. What are the odds on the judge not even noticing? Morning etc,
No games. Caught a bit of some absolute car-crash TV show Mrs Faceless was watching, whereby people with disabilities and/or mental health problems do a VT about their tragic lives, and then for some reason have to dance on stage while the audience press buzzers to pass judgement on them. Cheryl Cole was on it, along with two other 'judges', whose only role as far as I could tell was to make weird facial expressions.

I prefer Soar Golden to Twist, but the name is a bit off-putting. Hasn't the architect basically done all the clever creative work, and you're just piggy-backing on them in a rather cheap and uninspired manner?
I'm still not dead, and still not recovered. But I feel strangely better about myself and the world since I started writing this post.

Mine was The Incredible Hulk: The Pantheon Saga for the Saturn. I picked it up when I was a kid with the last tenner of my Christmas money. It looks worse than I remember, but I did attempt to persevere in a failed attempt to convince myself I hadn't wasted my cash.

Outlaws have been behaving themselves recently, so no toilet related hijinks to report. Mostly been working at work instead of going to work to avoid the outlaws and playing games all day, which is not what I had in mind at all.
Looking forward to playing everything on Switch tonight, that I bought for the princely sum of £9 something. Thats right, everything on switch for £9.

I thought the expedition was being done in 'private' mode to avoid that exact situation? I also read on Polygon that if you get killed, as a result of a griefer, Frontier may reinstate your ship, as it was, where you died. So, all may not be lost for you yet. |
