Morning,
This week I have nearly an entire week of gaming ahead of me. Preferred mammal is away with work til Friday. Time for trouserless gaming!
What’s that, dear? List of jobs to do? Certainly...

HONK! G’day.
Elite Chat! Don’t say you weren’t warned.
What’s all this DW2 business then? I’m about 14,000 ly out of the bubble towards the core doing a science guy mission and it’s looking like I’m going to miss the deadline anyway because I’ve been pissing about mapping ammonia worlds, so I’m vaugely thinking of ejecting him into space and joining up with the posse, if it’s pasing anywhere intercepible.
I’m liking this new FSS/FFS/Efes thingy. Very convenient, but I’m probably missing various useful modules. If not DW2 then a jaunt by Colonia might be on the cards to see what new and/or entirely overlooked tech there is.
I do, however, now have some repair limpets. Top tip, whoever that was.
Rich and compelling.

Morning all Spaceblog - Launchday! Departed Palleini system at 20.00 sharp. Never seen so many ships in one place before, and being in a private group (of about 10000) there seemed minimal griefing. Off we all go into the first jump.... loooong pause...… servers crash. Discord goes batshit. Top fun! Devs get things back up after about 30 mins and on we roll. Waypoint 1 is about 6000ly out, and i'm currently 2700ly along the path towards it. I have to say it hasn't been the silky smooth ride i'd hoped, as I had a run in with 'The View'.... a beautiful purple planet, next to a neutron star/black hole combo, and an awkward 3.5G gravity field. Now i'm not used to flying in a high-G area, and so took the landing very cautiously, and made it perfectly. Took a couple of selfies for the album, and almost got flattened by some unlucky sod who piled in to the surface about 100m in front of me. Feeling like I handled it fairly well I then made a complete ballsup of the takeoff…. boosted straight up, which overloaded thrusters which promptly shut down and I free-fell back for a spectacular faceplant. By the time I got rebooted and shields back, my hull had dropped to just 52%. Ouch. So, halfway to waypoint 1, hull 52% - choices are to go back and repair, and set off again, or continue to wp1 and look for someone who can repair me en-route. We go on.

I do, however, now have some repair limpets. Top tip, whoever that was. Repair limpets you say? I know! Who knew? Amazing idea. I’ve just been watching a vid on reddit of some poor bastard in what looks like a ‘conda absolutely fucking themselves up on that purple planet. A real doozy. Game over, man. Game over. Personally I refuse to go anywhere near anything much over 2g because I have the piloting skills of that bloke out of East17 who ran over his own head.

I plundered the penultimate mince pie from the cupboard this morning to take to work, thus the official end of Christmas 2018 is nearly upon us.
I watched some more Fear the Walking Dead and got a third place in PUBG. My back hurts from picking by Babyfark jnr, he's getting big now, maybe time for him to climb those stairs himself.

Morning all.
Watched the finale of Final Table last night. The host is like a second-rate Joe McHale, with an intensity of Jeff Winger "Goldblumming". The studio lights do him no favours, as it looks like he's auditioning for The Joker when he is actually being quite sincere. Horrowing.
Games! More Odyssey of course. I gone done moidered a king in the middle of a market in broad daylight. "Maximum wanted level" you say? Run to the hills!

I tried one of those Linda McCartney burgers last night. I always wondered what they did with old car tyres.
No Stars.

It's Monday! Hurrah! I've had all the caffeine and am powering through my action items for the day. I have more than I would like as the outlaws caused a bit of an incident yesterday with a few people getting Ain g f huff, distributing me from my work. Weekend work is the best.
Got a meeting with delegates flown in (by car) from around south east England this morning. I plan to welcome them by propping the toilets door open and taking a D.O.D. in the toilets next to the entrance. Properly establish dominance. There are some things they don't teach you in Harvard business cshcoll.
Ganes - its Ace Wombat week! Top stuff.

I assumed the outlaws had kidnapped a South Korean rap artiste. Although, that could be my business head talking.

I tried one of those Linda McCartney burgers last night. I always wondered what they did with old car tyres. No Stars. When I was on holiday in Norfolk one year we came to a crossroads with a sign pointing left for the Linda McCartney plant, and right for the Bernard Matthews plant. It was very poetic, like a metaphor for dinner. I've got my annual review today, I might open with that anecdote.

I am pretty sure Danky's in-laws have followed up the open door shitting with huffing paint thinner in front of him. Danky - you have already lost, time to move out.

Could be an analogy for Brexit or Vietnam, I dunno where I'm going with this, it sounded good in my head.

Or is that just for interviews and not annual reviews? It's all very confusing.

Confession time?
I've never played Elite. Despite having access to a BBC microcomputer in the 80s for most school holidays.
I'm also enjoying the Elite chat. I see there is an Elite game for PS4. Maybe another one for my collection of games still in the cellophane.
Breakfast - Crumpets. Drenched in butter.
