Advanced or second jobs? If you've already got all advanced jobs you are indeed massively OP for Chapter 2. If you mean second jobs, there are naturally eight... I'm just keep on doing side quests. Solving them, getting more. Now very much tempted taking Olberic to the final boss. I've been levelling him up so that he can get past anyone blocking a door because I can't be bothered with H'aanit's pets, and the damage he dishes out with the right kind of weapon is impressive. But first I've got to find the final boss... Advanced, so hope to breeze through the story and then gear up for post game Whoah! Are you trying to show up Jason Schreier? Because when he reviewed the game for Kotaku he was criticised for not having unlocked the advanced jobs, to which he replied that it had been too difficult... www.google.com/amp/s/kotaku.com/octopath-traveler-the-kotaku-review-1827537100/ampIt's a bit of a pity to do it like that, because you won't see much of a challenge now in the chapters' bosses, and won't experience the spike in difficulty as you advance in the story because you'll just flatten them before they can show off their strategy, but you do you...

These are all sensible suggestions. I'm glad Amipal doesn't seem to be around to ruin it by suggesting we invade France. It isn't about invading France. It's about engaging the combined Franco-Spanish fleet and destroying their ability to invade us.

amipal Cool pic, like a scene from a Netflix superhero series Thanks! Someone else compared it to a poster for Inception. I'd seen the film, but not that poster, just in case the lawyers are watching.

Today’s Dankyl update - no time to play ace combat, boo! OTTM - watched the fyre festival documentary. Incredible. It’s basically like boris Johnson and brexit but with a bunch of ‘influencers’ instead of racists.

tenthenemy That's how I play RPGs, level grind, (which I find really relaxing you get into a bit of a zen state), get OP and then play the rest of the game for the story without worrying about pesky battles

Who's doing what job in your party? I haven't decided yet, in these sort of things I go with characters I like, I'm tempted to go all female, as is my wont, though losing Cyrus would be tough. Up to now it's been Hanny, Therion & Cyrus plus one of the other girls, I tend not to use Olberic or Alfyn I suppose the benefit of being OP is no-one is essential, apart from whoever's story it is

I have just taken delivery of half a litre of Henderson’s relish. Should sort boiled shoe leather out a treat come 1 April, assuming I have any left by then and further assuming that I have purchased any footwear that isn’t wellies.
Elite! I am almost elite! Pioneer 44%. It’s so close I can almost smell it... I’ve hoofed off my annoying miseryguts passenger and got my imperial clipper out for a bit of leisurely exploring, heading vaugely back towards the place where I found a load of uncharted water worlds, and then I might visit Colonia. At a max 25ly jump, this might take a little longer than the DW2 expedition.
Other games. Don’t be ridiculous.

Inception really is very good. Think I enjoyed it more this time round. I've just got hold of a bluetooth thing that works with my ancient amp and speakers. Gamechanger - it's making me think twice about carrying buying CDs.

Gamechanger - it's making me think twice about carrying buying CDs. Carrying CDs or buying CDs? Both are old-fashioned. I remember once reading a very in-depth and technical article about how CDs will always beat MP3 and the like in terms of quality. The technical stuff largely went over my head, but I have used this to justify keeping a few hundred CD lying around and getting in the way, stinking up the place etc...
