Wordsworth* foresaw today: Yesterday afternoon in 2 hours it went from sunshine to heavy snow... looks pretty lethal in the Close tonight ... *I studied Billy for A level; some of his stuff was brilliant, but his determination to take poetry back to Natural Language resulted in this sort of garbage... study it? I wanted to bin the tripe... having to read it was torture... a bit too much time wandering 'lonely as a cloud' if he thought this was how drovers in the Lake District spoke to each other.

Bit parky out.
TV. Ray Donovan. Micky is a quality character. John Voight playing a blinder.
Games: Double $ crates in GTA. *sob* someone make it stop. Bit of Super Mario World 3.
I shall get the switch Dock setup this weekend. No I will.
With regards to the Smiths, quite a few indie kids round our way got rid of their Smiths albums when acid house hit. It was some sort of revisionist khmer rouge shit going on. "Yeah I've always been into this stuff" fuck off dweeb.

Hello all! And a top, top image from Admin there.
For the last two mornings I have fought with my son. He is two and a half. So strong... Basically doesn't want to get up in the morning, an issue I also suffer from. I've tried explaining the need for expediency of a morning to no avail.
TV! I caught two minutes of Newsnight, which I switched straight off when they introduced George Monbiot. No thank you.
Games! All about the Odyssey. Level 30 now, and struggling to keep my equipment at the same level.

The kid had a fever last night so I am staying home to look after him. No snow here today, but icy and cold. If the gods are on my side I may manage some PUBG later.

Games no, telly no, inhaling paint fumes and looking at Brennan B2s on the internet, yes.

A couple more 60 quid plaster issues, and your painter will be able to get himself a Brennan B2. I'd be amazed if he hasn;t already got one. I met the local roofer in the pub one time, and he was talking to his mate about whether or not he should sell the Porsche and get a Maserati. No joke. Especially as I come from a long line of roofers, until my dad fucked up my life chances by going to university instead.

I'm just going to assume "roofer" is Scottish slang for something hilariously derogatory.

My chum Stuart was a security guard. He had a Lamborghini Countach LP400s and an old mini. At one point he stuck the Countach rear wing on the roof of his mini and drove around like that for, er, about 10 minutes.
OK, he bought the Countach with inheritance money, but still.
Great story etc.
(EDIT) Come to think of it, he had a lot of good cars.
Escort RS Turbo - dull Lotus Esprit (in white) 1968 Dodge Charger 383 (6.3 litres - modified) -a lot of fun Countach Porsche 944 turbo

We had a carpenter in to fit some shelfs and add some doors to an old fireplace in order create a wardrobe.
He didn't stop talking about his speedboat.

More FPS shit; there are sooo few decent TBS games, and as my Steam/Paradox account linking fiasco fucked up over $250 of games behind 2 useless help systems, CK2 is the only one I don't currently have - I did have it £135 worth of game and DLC... I don't miss the magnifying glass I need to see the mechanics behind EU4 and Stellaris feels wrong... So Civ IV/AoW3 and NP2/Dip until the trump of doom.
I like bears...

By TBS do you mean turn based strategy or is it a sex thing? You never know with steam. Have you tried Into the breach? Possibly not the right type of TBS you are looking for though

Incase you can’t tell from the name, into the breach is a sex thing, not a turn based strategy game.

Possibly not the right type of TBS you are looking for though If only it were a sex thing... I do have Into the breach on GoG galaxy, but it's a little too fighty based and not enough strategy. GoG laughably calls it a simulation, like this simulates what? But I do like the look of it...

If you don't already know not to trust the D***y M**l I don't think a pop up warning will make much of a difference.
