I have absolutely no idea about whether the somewhat unseemly love for RE Tutu is nostalgia based or is a genuine new love for a modern classic. Putting aside all prejudice RE 2.2 is easily the best new game I have bought this year. A bold statement for January Shush your pretty face.

There's a Resident Evil film now? There are flippin' loads of them, at least 4 now I reckon.

Also there are two Silent Hill films, the first was actually alright (has a women being skinned alive and also Sean Bean) and I've not seen the second.

Even by the standards of video game spin off movies. I missed the first few minutes of it. I don't think that mattered. The last hour is pure gold. Four stars

I have seen both the Silent Hill films. The first one was ok. The second one, starring Jon 'bastard' Snoo... was very shit.
I think I may have seen a bit of one of the RE films. There was some sort of laser trap thingy, and someone got diced up. Similar to that other film where people are trapped in a giant Cube, made up of interconnected Cubes. Can't remember what it was called.

I've got the flu, so an interesting night's sleep was had. Odd dreams and a shivering, sweaty fever. Four stars. This is what you get when you sit around all day in a draught. I'm fine, by the way. Frankly your concern is starting to get a little embarrassing.

If I invited people over to watch a movie and they behaved like that, they’d never be invited over again.

Resi 2, forgot about that. Thank you, Sheeps.
Lunch blog! My lunch combination is now in the incident book at work. I left the jar open and went to get a cup of tea and someone reported a possible gas leak whilst I was gone. I couldn’t be happier.
Holiday. I’m going on holiday suckers! My holiday notes run to 8 pages and nearly 3000 words. I’m on the verge of tears.

I had morphine with Nursey for lunch; Sounds fantastic! My fantasy however probably bears no resemblance to your reality. I guess they expect the constipation to offset the loss of appetite, and so keep you at your fighting-weight.
Honestly, the pain gradually crescendos afterwards, partly because the morphine tails down to no effect after about 4 hrs. but mainly because the brutalised and exposed nerve ends get to the point where there is nothing you can do; no position, no activity or diversion, that's going to relieve the agony, excepting more morphine that will calm it to simply painful. But experience has taught me that the constipation and the foul nausea that overuse leads to have their own horrors that last many days longer than the 24-36 hr post treatment cycle. So, although it's agonizing at its worst (about an hour from now), when your treated leg will literally be quivering and spasming uncontrollably, I know this will subside to the merely fucking painful by about 7pm... by then things will pretty much have wiped me out to dozing point... Throughout the night, there will be bursts of pain which will make the word sleep an abstract concept, but the dozing will gradually deepen into sleeping ... Morphine for me is a horribly dangerous necessity; you need to know that addiction and the side effects, besides being of themselves nasty, will eventually kill you. The addiction itself is an illness, for which the only cure is cold turkey and the iron will to not take it to get relief. Been there, done that, got the damage.... Why tell you all this - because I like most of you and I would absolutely hate, for the want of a cautionary true story, become trapped by this stuff. I got addicted in my late twenties and the memory of breaking it still gives me nightmares - a year of hell.

Resident Evil 2 wasn't as good as the first one. Interesting argument. I feel 2 is like Aliens to Alien. Both excellent slightly different.

I suppose I can vaguely understand why Chumbles doesn't suffer fools gladly Yet still he’s here, with us and completely knocking the wind out of my amusing lunch anecdote to boot. Perhaps he just likes to be able to think “it could be worse, I could be them.”

There is a lot of difference, I mean the first is more of a thriller which builds up the tension and the other is more action packed and involves blasting loads of aliens to death.
