Hi I've been doing Man Stuff this morning. Went to screwfix, bought metal shelving unit, didn't get tutted at,put up shelving and didn't fuck it up. Four stars. Now on taxi duty. One more trip to go. Then I can play games. Games - with all the RE2 chat, I restarted RE2 revelations. Nearing end of chapter 2. It's great, but I am terrible. Think I'll get the new RE2 when it's a bit cheaper. OTTM - Making a chicken madras later. Its £38 in tesco xxx |

Fun fact: three naturalists beaches on my home island were named after exotic locations that had been part of German colonial ambitions. The best known of these is Zanzibar, after which a popular restaurant near the beach was named. In turn it also lend its name to a line of trendy beach wear (so that you can look good until you are taking everything off at the beach and the naked truth will come out).
It's lucky that you seemed to have booked a holiday to the correct location. You might have less luck in popping the question on a chilly North Sea beach in January, particularly without clothes (although this would be a chance for both parties to know exactly what they are letting themselves in for).

I've only just reached the opening credits for the latest episode of ST: Discovery, and I'm already annoyed by the following:
- Stammets doesn't say "fungi" correctly
- Tilly said "close out"
- a class-M planet with a ring network
- relativity has completely gone by the wayside

Now that Lucifer S4 has moved beyond my reach to grabby Netflux, I am re-watching both Angel and Buffy, which is utterly daft as they're on different timelines. But I have a confession; I'm not certain that I can stand to watch the last episode of Angel S1... I get really upset watching it; Angel S1 is the best season of both series by far; it has flaws*, but there are so many ideas that they burst off the screen.  *(like the first appearance of the Powers That Be - where the godlike beings visibly sweat under their make-up) Glenn Quinn, RIP. Art mirrored RL too closely. Much missed |

The clouds aligned, the entrails were fortuitous, games were had! Ace wombat - top game, blew up the president with a guided missile. RE2 - amazing! Went with the canonical Leon S Kennedy opening, it seems slightly different than what I remember of it on the ND65, but who knows what I remember these days. In the police station already, and yet to have it switch me to idiot mode. I'm considering waiting for this to be released though:  Now - watching someone play kingdom hearts. Looks awful |
