Wolfram & Hart spiked Doyle's smack, obviously. I require you to edit your post to remove the defamation and unfounded allegations. Any failure to do so or any repetition of the libel will result in action being brought against you immediately.

Big money on Scubar not outliving Jesus? Harsh. I hate to have to break it to you, but Jesus is already dead. It was a while ago, I'm surprised you haven't heard. I meant not making 33 1/3 without meeting a nasty end.

MarioKart with the child. She's not quite got the hang of weapons/sliding but lots of fun. Enjoy it while it lasts. Once she'll get used to the controls she'll leave you to eat her dust (and bananas, of course).

I remember when one of One Direction did a gig at the Leadmill a couple of years ago and the town centre was brought to a standstill.

From what I remember it never took much to bring Birmingham to a standstill ... The road system (hah!) was responsible. I was one of the zombies "flooding the city". We had a regular Diplomacy convention at the Royal Angus which involved many tries at finding the exit the directions said was 'by St Chad's'*... but by the time you saw that sign or the cathedral you were already too late to leave the ring road. The Royal Angus is now the Holiday Inn Express ... *Though why Brummies made this guy a Saint...

We had a regular Diplomacy convention which involved many tries at finding the exit. Life, as so often, imitates art.

I went to a Lego shop today. Amongst other things was the millennium falcon. For £650!
It looked absolutely amazing.
I bet you've all got one haven't you. Fucking nerds.
My children were allowed to purchase 3 x figures (that they made themselves) for £4.99 (£1.99 each). A license to print money.
Snow on the way later this week.
Also had a great burger in five guys. Four stars.

I've seen that falcon for £650. I've also seen the Ghostbusters fire station and Hogwarts. Both a pretty penny.

The Holiday Inn Express is miles away.

Well at least 200 yards.
The Royal Angus does have the best entrance though. Not only do you have to commit to it before you can see it if you are on the A38, but it's main car park entrance looks like a service entrance. Also it is not on the inner ring road. As the inner ring no longer exists. Well about 2/3 of it is still there. The rest is missing in action. What they have replaced it with is a mess. I used to go to the Thistle for professional courses so I know it pretty well*.
At least the Kennedy Gardens pedestrian subway has gone. There's nothing quite like a barely used subway for becoming run down.
*almost well enough to know it's now the Royal Angus again.

Thanks Sheep2 for the information ... me and a group of guys used that subway one night trying to find a pub with a dartboard. I should add that after 20 years being fairly prominent in the pbm Diplomacy scene we almost always went to prop up the bar and chat with old friends... You might think that the organizers would stop this, but most of them were of our number!
