Morning!
Started Conan Exiles. It is absolutely nothing like I thought it was, for the better. It's a survival/ building game, akin to Rust. As Rust is one of my most played games on Steam, it's safe to say it's right up my street. Only managed an hour or so before bed, but enough time to create my guy*, build a little hut, build an altar to some God and slaughter and cook an entire primitive village**. 4 *'s.
Also started downloading FFXIV as Squenix very kindly removed my lost authenticator from my account so I could get back in. Conchord the Monk shall rise again!
* A character creator with an 'endowment' option. That's a new one for me. And, yes, it's exactly how it sounds. <Insert obligatory 'slider didn't go far enough to make my guy realistic' joke here>. ** Yes, canabalism is a viable option for both nutrition and healing.

Oh, inb4 someone makes the counter retort that the knob slider remark was about making it smaller . . .

** Yes, canabalism is a viable option for both nutrition and healing. You'll need to move the slider all the way up to make it possible though...

Morning all, played some AC Odd last night. Didn’t get much done as one of my dogs is a needy mess who will sit on you and bark if he feels he’s not getting enough attention. Sailed to Andros and think I started the standard AC ancient alien guff.
I was intending to play Far Cry 5 or For Honor but both had 6+ hour updates, so that was a no go.
Life. It’s shit

Hi. Games? In a slump and not sure I can be bothered with RDR2. Still haven't had a game really get its teeth into me since HZD, so i downloaded Portal and Portal 2 after discovering they would work on my crap laptop. Telly? Ken Burns Vietnam war. I have been reading Tim o'brien books and he is in it as a talking head. It is making me nostalgic for the late 80s when everyone used to be nostalgic about the Vietnam war instead of shitting themselves that the world order was about to collapse. OTTM? I've got a new carpet on the stairs, it's a game changer.

It is an amazing documentary series. For once, I didn't mind the focus shifting between battlefield and the home front.

It's roasting hot today - for Feb. I didn't realise and I've just got off the 1st train a sweaty mess as I've a thick shirt and a parka on. 4 stars.
TV. No. Games. Couple of deliveries on GTA and then more stunt jumps on my new trail bike. Tetris 99. Pah. Frustrating.

@rolling - what Tim o'brien books would you recommend? I've only read The Things they Carried but thought it was great.

Morning
Installed my 4TB Pikachu drive last night and am now continuing to download some of last year's PS Plus freebies that, for reasons of space, I never got around to installing or playing.
I'll still never play 'em.
OTTM: none.

Hallo.
I have just ordered a new external hard drive for my PS4 after realising that Sekiro and DMC5 are out next month.
What a hassle.

I’ve repurposed the one I had for my xbone instead.

OTTM: I already have 1TB external harddrive for my laptop, and a 4TB NAS for backups. I feel I really need a harddrive for the PS4, and I was thinking about buying one for the TV as well. Is that enough? I may also need a 5th to use as a music server.
Games: more Overwatch, and some Minecraft, but I didn't play any. I'm crying as I write this. Please send help.

And a backup drive for each of those drives. Stored off-site.
There's a young women wandering around our work with a tablet doing a space use study. I'm convinced she's an anthropologist doing a study on how folk react to young ladies walking about your work with a tablet randomly entering data.

I only play elite. External hard drive solutions seem redundant.
Games! Elite.
Other things that matter! A classic Pay Advice Day Haircut. God knows I needed it.

I've just been looking at the members list, sorted by last post and I couldn't help noticing this anomaly;
Cobblersarse. Boilsmypiss. Cockinasock.
That's cheered me up a bit.
