Did IQs drive sharply while I was away?

Hello all. Back from a wonderful long weekend in Copenhagen. It really is a lovey little city.

Boy was no trouble at all on the flights or at the airport, and slept fine in the Airbnb we rented. The holiday was a good test, and one in which he passed with flying colours - meaning that we feel a lot more comfortable booking another holiday in foreign climes.

The apartment was in a great location, next to the main pedestrian thoroughfare through the city. This had it's ups and downs of course, and as a suburb-dweller found it a bit noisy.

First night there, someone in the block decided to have a party with intense bass - never thought I'd be laying in bed listening to a bunch of Danes bellow out some Smash Mouth. Who'd have thought that people descended from Vikings could be so rowdy?

Met my boss on the way to the bus so got a lift to work. In a lot earlier but I've not had coffee.

Games. Not really. Moving cars about in GTA so all the dupes I need to sell are in the one place.

TV. Last episode of True Detective.

There's a drive thru Taco Bell opening later in the year about 5 mins walk from my work. That can't be good.

You are the chap who lives on the road up from me with around a dozen cars in various states of disrepair on his drive and on the grass verge, and I claim my five pounds.

I have pulled a muscle in my lower back and now it hurts when I sit down, stand up, bend, turn or cough.

My daily life appears to involve a lot of those things.

I pulled a muscle in my lumbar region about 11 years ago. I found that getting off the toilet hurt the most. It still flares up now from time to time.

I won't tell you how I pulled it, but it involved Xmas decorations & booze.

I was looking at it, and decided I liked it. Is that so terrible? I think we played this game before; going back and liking a few very old posts is not a bad way of making people feel uncomfortable.
