I think it was before my time. he was a twat with interminable anecdotes about being a twat and, insofar as the context allows, was the buzzkill to end all buzzkills. At least he wasn’t overtly antisemitic though. You’ve got to try and find positives. I reckon that Crysis guy is probably in the Proud Boys now. |

Sorry Chumbles, I'm already tied up in a game, and if I had any spare time in my life I'd use it for drinking more heavily. It doesn't take much time - just some neurons not swamped in alcohol set aside to log in once a day for 5 minutes. Oh... Seriously, if you can pass aroused the invite to emigrated 'boxers that would help ... tenthenemy It's not a hard game to learn, but Fog of War is like the blindfold version so I wouldn't advise starting with it. But if you, crankcaller and 5 more want to learn and play in a commented game where I give advice etc. I'd be happy to set it up. I'd be up for learning. |

Hello all.
My work here in Scotland is done, and the fact that I’ve given myself a couple of days at the end of the job as a ‘just in case’ means I have a day off in Balmoral to look forward to.
So I’m out having an amazing meal at the Rothesay Rooms in Balmoral tonight - a martini as an aperitif and a Malbec to wash down the beef.
I reckon that’s the best food I’ve had for a very long time.
Tomorrow I strap on my walking boots and it’s a walk around loch muick for me. Last time I was there I saw a Scottish wild cat - I understand they’ve had kittens since so I’m hoping to catch a glimpse of them.
I’ve brought forward my flight home and will be heading back on Sunday afternoon. I’ve done a really good job here, even if I have to say so myself.
OTTM - as a treat I’ve bought myself Super Mario Bros U for the Switch - I’ve had about two hours on it before coming out for dinner - and it scratches that itch for a 2D platformer that my misspent youth failed to ever get to grips with.
They’ve just offered me a dessert wine. I have to go!

Watching season 3 of The Expanse on my latest Prime trial.
There will be no desert wine. Just more Kronenburg.
