Burgers as the main protein not on a bun is very 70s/80s flashback. Don't think I've had a burger like that since then. Did you have Vienetta for afters?

From before the puns.
My first time online was via a BBC Micro on, and unless my memory is playing tricks, I’m sure an acoustic coupler was used. We dialled into Exeter University MUD.
It was the summer of 1984, and the youth worker from our youth club had a job in a Travel Agents - and we were in the back of the shop on a Saturday night.
Go North.

My first time online was 24 June 1989 - the day of the under-16 world cup final in which Scotland lost on penalties to Saudi Arabia. I had been at the semi but couldn't get a ticket for the final, so I went round to my mate Bruce's house and he showed me how to log onto some MUD game. We then spent a happy half hour asking all the people playing as elves and dwarves etc what they thought about the Scotland back 4. I like to think that we were unwitting pioneers in the world of internet trolling.

I pleaded for an acoustic coupler for my spectrum. Never happened. It was around the time War Games was out. I assumed if I had an acoustic coupler Ally Sheedy would let me touch her breasts. Simpler times.
