The child is (was! She says she's never playing it again) playing a 'Worst Witch' rpg on the CBBC website. She's playing it on an iPad and there is no save mechanism. What a shit show. She paused it before school and when she came back there it had crashed. Cue tears n snotters as it was the furthest she had got.
Can anyone recommend a child friendly rpg. Preferably not with killing/weapons. iPad or switch. I believe stardew valley has fighting? Fucks sake. Stupid developers.

Crank, does Costume Quest fit the bill?
I've not played it, but it looks child friendly and I've not heard any reports of momo hacking it...

That looks good - but she's not quite 7 and the kidnapping by a monster part... she's perhaps a bit young for. Or perhaps I'm just an overprotective snowflake. Fortnite. Nah, not quite there yet. I don't want her kicking my arse at shooters *just* yet.

That’s more of a platformer, though.

Hmm. Maybe monument valley as she liked the puzzle part of the games she's playing.
I'm thinking animal crossing as well but it's choc full of in app purchases in iOS.
Swords n that. So no to Zelda.

RIME?
Though she might struggle with the puzzles and (emotionally) with the ending

RIME? Though she might struggle with the puzzles and (emotionally) with the ending I played it with my son, who was 8 at the time, taking turns. It made the ending even more of a kick in the nuts.

Have you tried homeopathy for the dog? Or maybe a spiritualist healing? Sounds like the poor fellow is being let down by so-called conventional medicine. Maybe get them to look at your hips as well? Isn't it angel healing at the spiritual church? I get so confused as to what they believe in and what they don't, there's no god but there are angels? I mean at this point you're almost at scientology levels of bullhsittery and making stuff up. Could try homeopathy for his blood sugar levels but that's about it

I've played Costume Quest 2. Got a bit repetitive towards the end. It's turn-based battle, so maybe not.
I suppose reading skills are not an obstacle? On the Switch there's Golf Story, although the mechanics are... well, golf mechanics. But it's also an RPG.
I've seen gameplay for Pikuniku, and it's just charming and great.
Little Dragons Cafe would fit the bill, but it's quite expensive.
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker isn't an RPG, but still great. But also a bit expensive. It's got a demo as well.
Pokemon Quest is free to play, but probably therefore full of microtransactions.

Hey that casino guy was well out line! The French are basically complete shits. I have been in meetings in Birmingham all day. Why is Birmingham always a building site? They have a giant Lego giraffe to. In last night’s Fortnite we were close with a few third and second places. Probably have curry later with a few Kronenburgs. Currently it's because we're getting lots of shiny new HS2-related things. We also have a recently opened Lego centre so probably something to do with that. Don't worry, post-Brexit our glorious second city will return to the shithole it was in the 70s and 80s.

He looked a bit sad, he had a sombre think for 10 seconds, then asked to play Fortnite.

There's also something called Teddy the Wanderer: Mountain Hike that promises to be violence-free and good entertainment for children. I can't find a review as such, I think it might be new.
