Hellblade is an ok game with a terrific atmosphere. I'd recommend it if it is cheap.
Also Soma And Kholat.
All very atmospheric, but not great games as such.
Everybody's Gone To The Rapture as well. A slightly dull game, but full of something good.

Fahrenheit on ps2 always stuck with me. I think it was when and where I played it. And silent hill 4. Last of us. MGS 1. Rdr1.
I've just put the RDR2 disc back in tonight after a long long break. Still only on ch4. Only played a couple of hours, but did nothing other than circumnavigate the top border/non accessible part of the map/game. Not sure why. But did find a dreamcatcher.

RIME. Don't listen to any naysayers. Superb. Amazing game. Me and my two girls played it all the way through. They absolutely loved it. Perhaps because they didn't 'get' the depression/dark angle, well not until the end anyway (where I had to explain a few things). They still put it on and replay bits. When I downloaded The Witness last week, they excitedly said "it's like RIME!". Until we played it. The youngest got bored but the eldest persevered and is keen.

Last of Us, definitely, I'll swap that for Horace.
Everyone's Gone to the Rapture never grabbed me, but would probably still make my top 5 of games set in Shropshire.

All 3D Zeldas with the exception of The Wind Waker (which has an age 7 rating, despite the memorably brutal end of the final battle) have a richly deserved age 12 rating. Interestingly enough they've only got a warning for violence from PEGI. That really doesn't tell parents anything about the high creepiness factor. Enemies like Dead Hand, Death Sword or Blizzeta in her " not take mirror" moment are worth a few nightmares. Everything in Majora's Mask is about death. Even the otherwise rather benign Skyward Sword had to throw in the Silent Realms to mix things up. Me, I just hate Redeads. The first time I encountered one I tried to talk to it. *shudder*

Never played a Zelda game nor bought a present for a little girl so I was winging it That was more meant as information for crankcaller - age-appropriate stuff can be a minefield.
