There's a festival been announced in a park about 10 mins from mine in a car. Not quite my garden, but close enough! Hot chip, little dragon, Django Django are playing the day I'm interested in. www.skiddle.com/festivals/playground-festival/Was the T thing not to do with a gas pipe running under the site that suddenly was a problem. That was the first site. They moved it and yeah the bird chat sounds familiar. I'm sure some wee bams would have taken care of the endangered birds if Geoff Ellis* had slipped them a few Bob and a bag of pills. *My lawyer would like to point out he never would.

I'm glad T in the Park is dead. Horrible crowd.

It ended up that way. There were a mix of folk who watered down the Ned factor - but towards the end is was a majority of bams. Luckily I only ever camped in the site behind hospitality and didn't have to put up with arseholes in the campsite.

Luckily I only ever camped in the site behind hospitality and didn't have to put up with the stabbings. FTFY. I think it was the year that "What's That Coming Over the Hill" song was out that I swore to never go back. Folk were chanting shite variations of that all through the night in our campsite.

Livestreamed on Twitch, apparently. 2.6 million... 2.7 million... 2.8 million... 2.9... 3 million... I've done my bit. Only way I can vote anyway. Both Theresa May and Andrea Loathsome have already said that they don't care. Nice to know in advance that politicians are happy to ignore the voters.

I can't imagine enjoying a festival.
But then I hate fun. In particular, other people's fun.

I wonder how shenguin and sheep are taking the good news? I refer you to Shenguin's post earlier in the day: Sheep's on reconnaissance in Europe and will soon have a car full of booze, so doesn't care too much at this point.

I've only been to one festival, V98. It was the height of Robbie Williams mania. The highlight was my mate almost getting hit on the head by a bottle of piss during the Charlatans.

I went to Glastonbury 2007. It rained relentlessly and I had a shit time. Global Gathering in 2004 was fantastic though.

I agree with Amipal.
I've never been to a festival. Even as a fun loving waccy original student in the early nineties, when pals were off to glastonbury, I thought "fuck that".
Invitations to sweaty basement clubs playing house and everyone sharing the love were accepted though.
Sigh. I'm old.

Bet he's fuming he has to start again to throw Sekiro into the mix. Evening all! Whilst you're all enjoying a nice Friday night I've just started my first of three night shifts. Still, four days off from Monday! Played a bit more FFXIV today. Crafting is stupidly annoying. Tonight, more The Last Kingdom. See what Uthred, son of Uthred, gets up to in s3.

If you read the judgement they have given us 7 points for breaching the rules. Plus 3 points for breaching the rules. Less one point for being honest. The reasoning behind the extra 3 points is bizarre. It's basically a fuck you because they've had to admit we didn't technically do anything wrong over the Pedersen transfer. Fuck The EFL.

I presume Shenguin's petition is to fuck the EFL.

Very much liking mookie's comment on John Crace's latest politics sketch. Well worth a Guardian Pick and c200 recommends:

I presume Shenguin's petition is to fuck the EFL. Oh, and fuck the FA too. I still remember when we (Boro) were deducted three points for calling off a fixture in the 1996/97 season due to squad illness (despite being informally told we could do so) Those lost three points meant we were relegated. To cap it all we also lost two cup finals that season.

Would've made it 3-1 to chesterfield I think for minutes left.

That was a great run by Chesterfield. Was gutted when they went out; and then when Chelsea won the final (if I am remembering the year right).
Commiserations to Birmingham for not getting away with it, whatever it was.
