I want to watch Blade Runner again but now I see there is a 'Final Cut' as well. Does that supersede the Directors Cut? Or is it some studio rehash? Hit me, nerds.

The directors cut is all you need, the final cut doesn't really add anything: "same content as Director's Cut. Plus new scene Deckard at piano and outside club, many technical improvements" <edit> Though I'd recommend a re-watch of Blade Runner 2049

I don't really mind the voice over narration in the original version.

I haven't seen 2049. Is it any good? I'm ignoring your comment about the VO* and presumably the happy ending. 2049 is brilliant, recreates the atmosphere musically and visually and has a really interesting story. *apparently HF did as bad a VO as he could because he thought it was a shit idea, the studio put it in so people could "understand" the movie, they also left out the unicorn scene, horrible mess and I saw it on release but was blown away by the DC <edit> I did enjoy the original but the DC is sooo much better

That Teen Titans problem reminds me of something.
Trying to find a single frame of The Tudors were Jonathan Rhys Myers doesnt look insufferable.

Blade Runner is one instance where I'm not a fan of happy endings.
Also, unicorn scene or gtfo.

I've tried to resist, but the alcohol has weakened my resolve, so I'm going to have to say it and risk the wrath that follows.
And before I do, I do appreciate the 'what I like is better than what you like' point and 'each to their own' , but nevertheless I need to let this out:
FORMULA FUCKING ONE IS FOR CHILDREN AND THE MENTALLY FUCKING FEEBLE. IT'S FUCKING SHIT.
Now, let's talk cricket...

trying desperately to get coin together for an Xbone X so that I can get the new Halo and full set again. I think some tough love is in financial order, that and probably some bodily parts. I might need to hire Mr.Tiddles. Ps- F1 isn't that shit from what I remember and have seen it's just over commercialised. I don't watch it because I don't have a tv Media Licence, not an important enough item for me considering the drivel that's on.

I used to know a couple who would watch F1. On the leadup they would stay up all night playing F1 video game on the PlayStation and taking amphetamines. Terrible drug, terrible game, terrible sport.

Blade Runner 2049 is brilliant. Great atmosphere, fantastic scenes, just... brilliant. Watch it.
Formula 1 used to be good, but haven't watched it in years. Would rather watch touring car races - at least they get to be dodgems.

Thanks for the BR advice, guys. I want to watch DC with my kids before I see 2049, which I have not yet watched.
Finished replaying Portal this evening. Had forgotten about the closing credits song. What a brilliant game.
I have not watched F1 since Nigel Mansell was in his pomp.

Personally I think Deckard is a replicant, Ridley Scott said he was and then maybe rowed back HF said he wasn't and then said "don't ask me I'm an actor", confusion abounds.
My reasoning hinges on the unicorn scene and the final scene in Blade Runner also to explain HF's age: MAJOR SPOILER FOR 2049
<edit> took it out to protect the innocent
<edit><edit> I had put it between spoiler tags so one would have to had clicked on it to see it, I'm not that dumb

36%.
Who do we all have on the replicant sweepy? My gut feeling was Kane, but then a replicant's posts would at least appear to have been written by a human at first glance...

It would make a lot of sense as far as them hiring him in the first place. The Replicants were designed to be better than humans, so they most likely wouldn't send a human to dispatch a Replicant, more likely one of their own..
