My copy of Dragon Quest VII came as well and I was first worried that it would fall foul of Nintendo's ridiculous region locking policy last generation as the age rating on the box was definitely not the European PEGI one. Only when I put the cartridge into the console and the game greeted me with 'G'day mate' did it become clear that it was from the land down under and would therefore work with a European console. Must be a pain holding the console upside down though? Even worse, as long as I play it I've got to drink tasteless lager, and Danky tells me it's a long game. |

I tried to beat a mythical beast in AC: Odyssey at lunch.
After five attempts, I switched off the PS4.
That's two mythological beasts that have made me do that. If I can't beat them, I can't progress in the game. I'm... considering lowering the difficulty level.

Close shave. I just narrowly avoided a visit by the Jehovah's Witnesses when I failed to get the door in a timely manner. I'd rather not have to get Mr Tent Rooster to answer the door again in an open dressing gown, although last time it worked like a charm. This lot must be new.

Although for causing the use of 'Ass* Monkey' I'm considering watching the next race.

In other news I've had a little go on Yakuza. It's very, erm, neon, so far. My man is pretty handy though. Four stars.

I always think the worst defeats are those where your team has behaved badly, so you can't even complain about the little things that went against you without people pointing out things might have gone better if you hadn't tried to murder two Celtic players.
