I had forgotten the fish curry reference. Quite how one can forget something so memorable I don't know.
Visit over and I'm sitting in front of a huge pile of washing up. Anyway, the kids demolished their first chicken korma with gusto. Also with naan and papadums. The takeaway order qualified for a 20% discount. I staggered home from the restaurant carrying a huge box of balti and a large bottle of coke they chucked in for free.
Need to calm my nerves by playing a bit more DQ VII. I much rather fight a slime than prevent children from climbing over furniture.

I have to visit my parents to cook dinner for them tomorrow. It will not be fish curry.
Originally it was an invitation to dinner.
My ma has taken a dive claiming a knee injury.
This was on the way home from the football.
It required a dramatic trip to A&E and an overnight stay (not for me).
All a bit unnecessary. I would have agreed to cook dinner. All they had to do was ask.
I quite like cooking.

I understand that a small clean up op may be needed, but it wasn't a torn cruciate, which is good. Still pretty painful though. I just hope the Chievo player was sent off. |

Found the original thread HEREThe chat there seems a lot tamer than the later years of the box. Even the slagging is quite restrained. I'm unconvinced. The 360 v ps3 slagging was a low point and that was early doors. Endless sniping about specifications for games that were effectively identical across platforms. AndC was the worst. It was never about being rude to people. Obviously if someone deserved it they got it. But it was a place where you could chat shit without getting banged on the G. Just low profile enough to avoid the deletions that marred football. Also mostly without the antagonism of a footie thread. For a long time the mods barely bothered chatterbox, which was the best. It was always mostly people who were bored at work and wanted to chat shit about games and stuff. |

Too tired last night to do anything.
Had one beer - actually cider - and didn't finish it.. too many late nights Divisioning had taken its toll.
I'm slightly more refreshed and hope for some Divisioning later. My pal has no doubt levelled up again - which won't help. The cunt.
Off to see Mrs Cranks folks this afternoon and have dinner. Washings getting hung out so I'm putting off doing the grass till tomorrow.
