Hello,
Last night was supposed to be a pre Christmas meetup with a friend featuring Xbox, chat and a couple* of jazz cigarettes.
His ex wife as an act of revenge against my friend decided to go shopping instead of picking up their kid from him after school and a party. Plans scuppered.
His crime? Not getting out of work last Saturday at last moment to allow her a night out.
I love couples who are fighting ruining my plans. Four stars.

Last night was my Work Christmas do. Sadly, I had to drive so I had the joy of being one if the few sober people in a room full of drunks.
No games, second episode of League of Gentlemen which was surprisingly sad.

I bought Stardew Valley last night, despite realising that it might not be for me.
I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I've harvested 8 parsnips, planted some maple trees and met a wizard.

My work party was last Friday, I was depressingly sober and went home about 11:30. Rock and roll.
Last night I did bugger all. The standard domestic chores and then Division. I'm addicted to Survival, again. Last night I failed to extract and was killed by the hunter. So only 3 caches reward, rather than 10 or so for a successful extraction.

Games: Civ V. Started as Austria, the Civ pros say the first five turns determine how the rest of the game will go. I'm screwed.
Other: rewatch of The Force Awakens to refresh my memory of the plot, ahead of seeing the new one. I've still not made my mind up whether TFA is good, bad or indifferent. 4*s.

In other news the psp emulator on my tablet now uses Vulcan graphics API and the games are running at a decent framerate. Hey why use a psp on the train when you can carry a tablet and a dual shock controller instead.

Bit more This Is the Police. It's becoming a bit of a grind now, due to the plot points being so far apart. I'm guessing they needed this stage to classify it as a strategy/ sim game, rather than a visual novel though. I shall persevere. Need to know whether you get to take down the prick of a mayor and the ever smug Robespierre.
Tonight, the finale of Peaky Blinders. Can. Not. Wait.

Thanks tenthenemy for the knowledge I can see how long I've spent on my games on the switch.
I have somehow spent over 30 hours on Zelda and I still haven't killed a single guardian. I am atrocious at games.
