Whilst there are some pluses to Return of the Jedi (we see the Emperor's lightning powers, Luke is now a proper Jedi, Leia's bikini and the space battle at the end), the negatives are horrific and plentiful with another sodding death star, ewoks and Han Solo just making things worse. A middling Star Wars film at best, and the point where the rot set in.

Hold up, hold up. A middling star wars? But the rot set in at this point. So the first 2 are good the third is middling and from then on the rot is in. If it's a middling episode it should be the 4th or 5th best star wars, but if the rot sets in, consequently all star wars should be worse than it. So it's at worst the 3rd best star wars and therefore not middling. You have not thought this through.

Return of the Jedi is the point where commercialism of the franchise starts to have a significantly detrimental affect on the film, and the first time a significant part of the plot is recycled (the death star coming back). It does not necessarily follow that every film has to be be worse from this point for the rot to have set in. 1. Empire Strikes Back 2. New Hope 3. Turkish Star Wars 4. Revenge of the Sith 5. Return of the Jedi 6. The Force Awakens 7. Rogue One 8. Attack of the Clones 9. The Last Jedi 10. The Phantom Menace

My choice of best star wars is going to make people furious: 54617832 1 before anything but 2 is a travesty of natural law and you should be ashamed. Wheres Rogue 1 fit in here?

We need to put this debate to bed, perhaps with a series of polls. I suggest starting with a simple yes/no poll asking if Episode One could be considered a crime against humanity.

This again? Hell’s teeth. I know, right? My view, I shan't be seeing the new Star Wars as I found the previous 7 outings to be shite.

I am sorry and ashamed, it was the first star wars I saw and even now I can't understand the hate for it. It came out at the right time in my childhood I think. I'd go rogue 1 after the original trilogy I reckon.

This again? Hell’s teeth. For many of the new generation of boxers this is maybe only the 7/8th time we've debated this. Fun sponge.

His ex wife as an act of revenge against my friend decided to go shopping instead of picking up their kid from him after school and a party. Plans scuppered. Sounds like someone needs to dress up as a series of ghosts to teach her the true meaning of Christmas. Assuming of course you interpret the true meaning of Christmas as being tasered by police for breaking into a womans bedroom in the dead of night with talcum powder on your face and a hold-all full of costumes. The Three Tims of Christmas

The Three Tims of Christmas and the Robin mask was seen by the defence as 'festive'.

Picard would never have run out of fuel when planning an escape! Eventually he would if he was tracked through hyperspace. Edit - just seen your new avator. My partner is actually related to one of the Goonies.
