Props to Tuffers for excellent taste; the Kullervo is awesome - try The Swan of Tuonela, which in my view is as good as RVW's Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis; you'll have heard the latter in Master and Commander, if you watched it ... Remember the wedding video? Well, the real surprise is that the bro orchestrated a cover version for the bride and groom to be. The surprise? Not that the brother is enormously talented, nor the groom's voice. It's that the fiancée has a voice so good it is one of the most gorgeous I've ever heard. It leaves me looking at the 2k view count and wondering wtf... Treated today (hah) and the pain is bad still, but I just had to share these with you ... Something hopeful and wonderful for a change |
