Morning fuckoes!
How are we all*?
Games! Finished Mutant Year Zero. Good but a bit short. Gets significantly easier the further you get, thanks to the op mutations (I had the duck at 100% crit chance when shooting from height) but might be worth a second play through on a higher difficulty at some point. 4 stars.
This meant I had a gaming hole, so I filled it with and early access crafting/ exploration game, Solace Crafting. Enjoying it so far. Not much substance to the content as yet but it's still good for wasting the odd hour getting another cycle into the 'loop'.
TV! Finished s2 of Vikings and now half way through s3. They've started culling some of the more meandering characters now, which is a good thing as there was too many unnecessary sub-stories on the go.

Conchord you still enjoying it? I can't remember where the plot was midway through season 3. I seem to remember it was peak Ragnar, Floki(sp.?) And Lagertha - for me by far the best 3 characters

Peak millennial here, played football yesterday and my plan for tonight? Go to the gym before enjoying a nice meal.
I have offset this awful behaviour though by being an absolute drunkard, had at least 6 pints after playing yesterday and as a result feel terrible today.
This is not my worst drink related story of the week, at the spurs game on Tuesday I had 9/10 pints. 2 before, one at half time and at least 5/6 afterwards (I lost track).
The result of which was I missed the last tube and had to get an Uber back from Tottenham to South West London. £40.
My plan for this bank holiday weekend is more football playing and more drinking.
We go again.

And Lagertha - for me by far the best 3 characters Yea I'm still enjoying it, the showdown in s2 was well telegraphed*, but was still good to watch. Plot wise, they're just about to set sail for Paris and 'Priest' has just been killed**. Can't disagree with your character choices. I'm guessing the perceived drop in quality being down to Bjorn carrying the later series'? I don't particularly mind him tbh though. *Never doubted Floki for a second. **Courteous spoiler time limit has expired, I'm sure. |

ConchordPartially- for me they really ruin both Lagertha and Floki's characters, but I won't say anything for spoilers. Bjorn isn't too bad, his acting also improves a lot as the show goes on. I just think it's not written very well, but you're right there is a point where there is a bit of a charisma vacuum which doesn't help the weaker stories.
