I hope Mr Crace tells the Hay festival to do one and goes to the CL final. He can go to Hay any year or on a different day. Spurs won't make the CL final very often.

Hello all. Working from home today, so of course I've got a lot of work stuff done (sanded some shelves, had a shave, unpacked boxes, phoned an electrician). I'm just glad that my boss MrTiddles is in an important business meeting all day. Gamesblog - only Civ Rev. The French are soon to be demolished. TVblog - The War. This one is a bit more nostalgic for American than The Vietnam War doc was. OTTM - this apple is very juicy. |

In other news, Slovenia was beautiful, beer and food were cheap and scenery was amazing. 4 stars, would recommend. Back in the days of Yugoslavia my pals were inter-railing and ended up in Ljubliana. They were in the best hotel in town, eating the best food and buying beers for everyone around them. Couldn't spend more than £20 a day - including accommodation. God I miss communism. |

Last night I did not watch the football. Had dinner, watched a bit of television with the Preferred Mammal. But mostly I played Dragon Quest VII.

I played DQ obsessively until the battery on my console was almost dead. I would like to play more DQ now. Why is this happening? It's such a slow-paced game and I'm mainly going from point A to point B and back, sometimes going on a fetch quest for something that's neither difficult to find nor obtain. The corny soundtrack has wormed its way into my subconsciousness and I'm not even flinching at all the terrible Dad jokes. I'm beginning to get very excited for the prospect of Dragon Quest XI coming to the Switch later this year and I'm eyeing Dragon Quest Builders.
There's got to be a self help group or something. Have I come to the right place?
