Due to my attempts at only drinking at the weekends, BDT has been postponed until Friday evening.
Depends how I do in the Print of the Year competition this evening, mind. I may need to celebrate/commiserate.

Adding to the squirrel death incident, for the second time in a week my car has been reversed into whilst stationary. I wasn't in the car this time, and this time there is some minor damage. The numberplate is currently held on by cable ties.
This is in addition to my Noddy car being written off whilst parked when someone drove into it a couple of months ago.
What I'm saying is, which of you fuckers lives near me and please can you learn to drive?

Lunch was some Irish potato farls with cheese and salami, washed down with a cold beer because BDT starts at lunchtime.

I'm going to Ireland next week. I will conduct fieldwork in the crisp department and report back.
Games: Apex and Life is Strange: Before the Storm
Telly: The Expanse, which I have not previously watched and is good. Also Bosch, which I have previously watched and I suspect is crap but I like it anyway. Also Sicario 2, which I can't decide whether I liked it or not.

Any of you lot watched that Chernobyl programme from HBO? I was hoping it would be Stalker writ TV but it sounds like more of a dramumentary.

And weren't aware that football (where he has made his career) has had high profile racism issues recently. And weren't aware that comparing darker skinned people to monkeys is a well known racist trope. Then the first bit of his defence is plausible. At the least his tweet was ill advised and incredibly tone deaf. |

It's the child's birthday party on Sat.
Glad to say it's only 5 other kids coming over. There will be booze consumed Sat night by me & Mrs Crank i'd imagine.
I've just emailed Samsung Support to ask about a 5yr old MicroSD card that had a 10 yr warranty as it's shit the bed.
I'm sure they'll laugh in my face - but it's worth asking i suppose. And also I'm tight.
I pointed out it's been in a Samsung phone - and i wished to use it in a Samsung tablet.
The part about the tablet wasn't true.
