Wide Andy was actually fairly subdued today, but did get in a blazing row with hairy Jake (names changed to protect identities) during a team building exercise, and briefly ran around with someone’s towel (don’t ask) over his head pretending to be a lady because he thought it was a shawl.

Evening all!
4 night shifts then off to that London to see Distant Worlds on Saturday. Good times!
Ganes! Finally got sick of PC Building Sim so switched to Age of Wonders 3, which was obtained for free thanks to Humble Bundle. Good game, reminiscent of Heroes of Might and Magic. Also bought Surviving Mars, which is a nice little base building sim.
Films! Went to see The Hustle on Friday. I'd advise no one else ever goes to see it. It was dire. Supposedly a comedy. I laughed once. But, then again, I laugh every time someone runs into a door, so it was a bit of a cheap one tbh. -4 *s.

I have said spreadsheet mug, got given it a couple of years ago. A few years before that though when I had a life I would have been in that toilet cubicle with Wide Andy. Wait...
Anyway I watched GOT, pretty dark stuff.

I don't actually watch GoT but I do watch recaps so know the story and I've read the books and there are a lot of people who are really angry about the last episode, I feel that there seems to be a lack of perspective going on. |

My favourite thought about this is the "changed names" in case they're reading this. I don't actually watch GoT but I do watch recaps so know the story and I've read the books and there are a lot of people who are really angry about the last episode, I feel that there seems to be a lack of perspective going on. It turns out it's much easier to create an expanding fantasy world with dozens of interacting stories than to wrap one up. I hope the writers hold their nerve and pull off a shot by shot remake of the final Sopranos episode at the very end. |
