Morning everyone!
I am relieved Tent's Mutter can watch TV again. Last night I drank all the beer and spoke Greek to the internet.

Hi Wish I felt as chipper as Shenguin sounds. I'm on a train and hungover. Urgh. Gonna be a scorcher! Send bricks.

So.. get coffee and miss the 0804 with tables/air-con and generally quiet. Oh and be on time.
Or miss the 0804 and get coffee and be on the 0830 without tables, noisy, uncomfortable. Hmm. I have 10 mins to decide.
Morning. Lovely day in Glasgow. Well, for those fortunate enough not to be at work.
TV. Finished S2 of Line of Duty.
Games. Mooching about in the Division trying out a couple of AR/SMG options. Dury is still out. A couple of nice group incendiary grenade throws.

I'm on the train to an 'away day' which is a few hundred meters from where we work on 'not away days'. Wide Andy will probably be 'exuberant' as usual on these days...
Fun activities for today include presentations to the bored and several hours of HR run team building exercises, finishing off with a workplace stress seminar. My wellness is going to be through the fucking roof.

Or choice 3. Push by women/children/disabled and run through GLC to Pret and catch your train in the 6 min window. Get in.
Wide Andy sounds like a bawbag. Just like the guy tutting loudly at idiots who look for their train ticket in pockets at the barrier. That dear reader was me!

Morning all!
Gamesblog - no big games, just the standard little one.
TVblog - more 30 Rock, and finished the D-Day episode of The War.
DIYblog - I took a jigsaw to my computer desk yesterday. It has turned out rather well. Gradually, slowly but surely, the study is changing to what I have it mind for it. Next step - getting the A3+ printer moved to its MASSIVE shelf. Although 5kg under the maximum load quotes on the brackets, it is still a lot of weight. Counterbalances may be required.

Believe or not I have a suspicion that Wide Andy, although naturally an exuberant personality, he may frequently supplement this with a few grams of vitamin essences and powders. Whatever his secret, he’s certainly ‘lively’.

Spray the top of the cisterns with cooking oil or wd40. Though if he's any sort of professional he'll be carrying a bullet.

Well the weekend flew by. We are having our garden re-designed so much clearing and moving was done to prepare for this.
I managed a few top 10s on PUBG and got a brilliant snipe on some guy on a far away bridge.
TV wise I finished series 2 of American Gods, pretty disappointed with it overall.

TVBlog: Watched the first 3 episodes of S4 of Lucifer on Netflix, pretty good start after last seasons rather silly ending 4*
GamesBlog: More Fallout 76, new material is basically one long fetch quest, one thing that had to be done was to "Revive an Ally" as I play solo that is very difficult, ultimately I stalked a low level player until they were killed and I jumped in and did the Lazarus thing, sorted. I stayed around and helped them out and let them have the rewards of the event they were on.
I do have headphones with a mic but can't find them

The main reason I am aware of how poor Shenguin is at Fortnite is because if you are in a party you can see the last member of your party left alive. It's embarrassing when you see how terrible someone is and yet they are the best player in the party.
It's a lot like watching the ghost time on Wipeout or Gran Turismo. You can see how awful you were when you set the best time, but it's often surprisingly difficult to beat.
On the plus side if you play duos Fortnite now has 'revive-a-Shenguin' vans. If you arrive at his body after the teenagers have gone away you can pick up the bits and take him to be revived elsewhere.

In other words Hollyoaks actually had some surprisingly good camera work.

Morning. Games: is No Man's Sky good now, as some people say? Is it just flying around collecting stuff or is there some kind of goal-oriented story or whatever? I am being badgered to get it after seeing it at the V&A on Saturday. For the purposes of this conversation, let's assume that Sean Murray is not the greatest scumbag currently stalking the face of the earth.

TV: Sports Ganes: Yet more EDF on hard level. It's surprising difficult with only two bots for company. 1) 'A team-mate needs reviving'. 2) Tiddles revives bot. 3) goto (1) unless 'Tiddles needs reviving'. 4) Bots die. 5) Game Over.
Stoopid bots.

For the purposes of this conversation, let's assume that Sean Murray is not the greatest scumbag currently stalking the face of the earth. I occasionally dabble, it's a nice game but a bit of grind fest. You essentially need to craft and build stuff to progress your way to the centre of the galaxy, and in doing so use up the resources you have already acquired, thus you need to go back and collect more of them. The music and general chilled out vibe is brilliant.

Games! Fallout 3 again. Not games! Attempting to eradicate ants from somewhere behind my sofa. Hence fallout 3 again. I think Megaton is going to get exploded this time, Moriarty is annoying me.

For all of its many many many faults it is rather relaxing, you just bimble around shooting, looting and crafting and watch something on the Kindle
