I’m up all night tonight. I was hoping for an after-after box.

I’m up all night tonight. I was hoping for an after-after box. Not quite asleep, but still subdued. Some comments made me want to tear my hair out, but that's probably not a good look. Do you have to be on duty for work tonight? I'm just about to pack it in, Christmas has crept up on me like every year, so I'll throw myself into the shopping fray tomorrow.

Don’t worry about the comments too much. Remember we’re all writing and it’s difficult to precisely judge what others mean. With no vocal tones or facial expressions people misunderstand each other all the time. Honestly, in a weeks time none of it will seem to matter very much.
I’m not at work exactly, I’m doing the night shift at a winter homeless shelter. The WiFi seems to be cutting in and out though, so even chatterbox can’t help me much.

Hello, I am now back in Cornwall. I kind of have to drive back up to Exeter tomorrow.
I wish I had played a video game at some point in the past few days.

Met with Freddy T. to pick up some wiretap tapes, scarfed down a couple of chili dogs from the stand at 7th and Slauson Ave.
Bit of indigestion.

You are doing a good thing there. I'm hoping that not too many people will need to take shelter, but I also hope that everyone who needs it will find their way to you. In Birmingham it has been particularly bad this year, with people freezing to death.

It’s not too busy tonight, I guess as it’s relatively warm and dry. Some of the people who stay are alcoholics or druggies, so when the weather is better they sometimes prefer to spend the night outside. I guess that’s what addiction does to you - a bottle seems like a better deal than a meal and a warm bed.
It seemed like a good idea to volunteer, but now it’s three in the morning and I’m here till at least seven. Meanwhile I have a religious zealot as my ‘partner’, who keeps telling me that if I open my heart Jesus will come to me. I wish I’d been a bit quicker thinking, I’d have told her I was a Buddhist.

Just tell them you’re only there to find more victims to sacrifice to Satan.

Beware its a slippery slope, next thing your be finding your volunterry work gives more job satisfaction than your regular job. Then your find yourself working for less money in the care sector helping others sort their lives out.Happens to a lot of people at a certain time in life. Twas one of my better decisions though.

That's a decent thing to do. Good for you. Morning,
No games really. One biker mission in GTA and then some TV and we watched Trainwreck. Funnier than I expected.
The child is waking earlier every day this week from 7am on Monday to 6am today. She'll be not sleeping and actually levitating by Xmas day.

Thanks - it's not much, just once a week and a standby. My niece told me I had to do it 'to make up for being a piss-taking bastard'. Difficult to argue with that.
Anyway, sleepy time now for a couple of hours - then I get to go Christmas food shopping with my mum as she 'cannot carry the bags anymore'. That's a lie, by the way, she's fitter than I am.
If all this doesn't get me out of a few years in purgatory I will not be happy.

Morning all! It is true, EasilyLead is a good man. And thorough.
I didn't sleep well at all, haven't done so in a few nights. And the boy has slept fine, dagnamit.
Still going through Rome, it is really good. Shame only two series.

Morning. EasilyLead actually is a good man? Astonishing.
I wonder which random comment WeeCooper is going to unintentionally reply to today.
