Morning all! It is true, EasilyLead is a good man. And thorough. I didn't sleep well at all, haven't done so in a few nights. And the boy has slept fine, dagnamit. Still going through Rome, it is really good. Shame only two series. It was truly excellent, lots of decent actors. I think the set was used for a number of Roman History documentaries. I take it from your comment that you found t historically close to the subject matter? Watching it has given me a hankering to find out more. |

I'm home after a "hard" days work ie I went in late, had a fried breakfast with the skeleton crew that were left then fucked off early.

Been down to my sisters dropping off presents. Heading home now. Feels like. Saturday. 1st day of my holidays and I'm already confused.

I thought season 3 was the worst, with all that Hamsterdam nonsense. Hamsterdam is abit silly, but then again it's a social experiment that is similar to systems that work in other places. Everything with Ziggy and the duck, as well as the absolute obsession with keeping the dock open and the Greek jarred abit with me. That said they just about pulled it off and is still better than anything else on TV. |

Season 5 was the worst; too far-fetched, but still great. The other seasons should simply be ordered by how much screen time and whistling Omar has. He's the best.

Season 5 almost felt like it had different writers. Characters behaving differently to how they had previously. Plus the one ridiculous storyline, and the bellend journalist.
I'm over it now, but it took me while
