How are we all?
Back at work after a week off so the depression hasn't quite set in yet.
Distant Worlds were good. Bit too much focus on FF7 for my liking, and the lack of any FF8 songs was a bit disappointing, but overall very enjoyable. Lots of cosplayers to shake my head at, but one guy sat near us had gone all out. He was dressed as Barret, complete with a huge gun arm. He got a big cheer when the remake footage was shown.
Ganes! This week I have mostly been playing Rage 2. Needed a shooty bang (technical term) game to balance with all the sims I've been playing lately and it really hits the spot. Usually in FPSs I rarely use a shotgun, in Rage it's my go to. Sprint into the middle of all the bad guys, do the power slam then go to town popping heads. A big 4 *s from me.
TV! Haven't started s5 of Vikings yet but have two weekend day shifts followed by two nights so I'll get there. Pretty sure the final series has been released now, too. I have been hammering Sneaky Pete s3 though. So good. Love a good con movie/ series.
GoT! I think I'm one of the few who actually didn't mind the ending. Agree the last couple of series have been rushed though.

Hi. Last night I went to Tannadice to watch the first leg of the Championship play-off final. It was an edgy draw but I did find myself sitting next to former Raith Rovers and Alloa midfielder Robbie Raeside, which added a bit of stardust to the occasion. No goals, four stars.

Total War China is good. Complete impenetrable and bewildering. Haven’t got a clue what I’m doing.
Duelling is great though. Basically a school scrap, two guys taking wild swings at each other while everyone stands around chanting “fight! Fight! Fight!”

Last night I voted Green for the very first time in my life. The SNP need to start an England branch but until then......
I also played a bit of The Division 2 with Pistashio on the PS4. I managed to get a cheap copy on eBay the other week so i'm bi-console with it. Which is nice.

The child is off today and we're currently playing Uno.
Came home from work yesterday with a few bags of booze. Today's the final countdown to fitty.

I got mullered at PUBG last night, in 6 games I killed one person.
It is again lovely and sunny here, I am working at home today so I don't have to worry about the bank holiday Friday madness on the trains.
I still don't understand why amipal has 3 Amiga 1200's and apparently not a single 500+.

Morning all! Yesterday evening was spent feeling absolutely dreadful thanks to some ill-advised dehydration. I did watch Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure though, so that was a plus. I still don't understand why amipal has 3 Amiga 1200's and apparently not a single 500+. I have an A500 and A500+ as well, I just didn't have time to test them. Oh, and a CD32 as well. :edit And a towered A1200, but couldn't find a kettle lead for it. |
