I'm worried about catching this birthday bug that's doing the rounds here. Happy birthday, cobblers! The Jay Rayner stamp of approval is just confirmation of your good taste. I never thought I'd write these words.

I always think of anyone who wants to vote for a Nationalist party as a bit of a twat What if said party are the only real social-democratic alternative on offer? What then? I'd spoil my ballot before voting for a party represented by John Mason.

I always think of anyone who wants to vote for a Nationalist party as a bit of a twat What if said party are the only real social-democratic alternative on offer? What then? It all depends on how simplistic your definitions of nationalism are. The Tories at present are clearly more nationalistic than the SNP; and the (internationalist) Greens and Scottish Socialists are more pro-independence than the SNP. It's almost as if it;s more complicated than just whether or not one is a thick twat. (I actually am a thick twat, but that's just a coincidence).

Shit, I've got double maths now. I've got a bottle of white lightning, coming down the forry*? *I'm assuming all schools have woods nearby known as 'the forry'.

She's gone - poor cow. And the idiotic journalists are assessing her tenure as PM on whether she achieved her initial objectives. Partly through tying up with the wretched DUP, but mainly because of continually trying to find a plaster to stop the bleeding wound of Brexit and the mouths of the rancorous back-stabbing public schoolboys on the benches behind her we can say that the government of this country has been largely non-existent... Her main failure has been her inability to realize that the Tories have become a fragmented bunch of herd animals with a minority of savage, irresponsible, doctrinaire berks and that temporizing with these scum not only gave their opinions entirely disproportionate weight, but that she would be unable to deliver Brexit in a form that those who voted for it would recognise, but that the attempt to do so would result in an extended hiatus which would make her initial policy objectives unattainable and polarize opinions and divide both country and party into increasingly extreme tribal camps. She meant well and the road to hell has been paved with her good intentions. Now the vultures, the demons and demagogues, the incompetent and otherwise unelectable will fight to see who will lead us further into insanity ...

In light of a recent post on the Graun’s politics blog, I would just like to make it absolutely clear that I am not Jacob Rees-Mogg. You think that's bad, I found out last year I shared my birthday with babyfark

No one in May's position could have delivered what everyone wanted. Frankly, I'm amazed she survived as PM as long as she did. Tenacious.

Where's our political correspondent 'BiNK' at this time of uncertainty? Or, failing that, his batman 'Shenguin'? Who the fuck is BiNK?

Where's our political correspondent 'BiNK' at this time of uncertainty? Or, failing that, his batman 'Shenguin'? Who the fuck is BiNK? I'm sure Aristotle asked the very same question. Or was it Descartes, 'I think, therefore I'm BiNK'? My memory fails me, much like my face etc..

Her main failure has been the fact that she's incompetent, lacked any semblance of leadership ability, failed to avoid being small-minded and nasty, has enacted racist policies, and in betraying her own beliefs she's also betrayed her country. ftfy Separately, happy birthday Cobblers.
