Oops: In Memoriam My father at that time was in the 8th army, RE, in Alexandria servicing Scammels and other massive fuel-injection engines. He'd spent the previous 3 years being chased back and forth across the desert. Because he was one of few fuel-injection experts the poor old sod was kept there until 1947. Morning, was going to try and doctor a Churchill speech for the chatterbox but decided it was a bit too far, even for this place.
Games, you ask? Yes, Witcher 3, where I made an unpleasant discovery. One of my favourite skills appears to have come from one of the dlcs, which I don’t have on the pc version.

Thanks for the phone advice everyone. My usual methodology is whatever budget Samsung is available but I might look at some of the other ones mentioned to see if there are good second hand options. I assume I'll have lost all my contacts, which is the real pain in the ass. However, the phone is sitting in a bowl of rice (uncooked) in one last attempt to save it.
Telly: no
Games: bit of late-night Apex. I'm getting worse again.
Ottm: visit to the physio, who spent half an hour driving his elbows into my glutes, hips and lower back. Exquisite agony, 4 stars.

Morning all! I'm back to work today. Well, working from home, as not sure I'm allowed to drive yet. Hopefully my GP can confirm on Monday. If I'd been able to drive yesterday, I would have driven to Eastbourne to watch the Dakotas fly over. Oh well. Gamesblog - yes! I actually played a game. And that game is still AC: Odyssey. I'm powering on through the main quest, with my time mainly spent in Athens. TVblog - yes! More TNG (someone's stolen the children!), followed by even more 30 Rock. YouTubeblog - yes! A new Wheel of the Worst on Red Letter Media. And, or lord, they were all mostly truly bad. Except Hostage Officer Survival, which actually looked worth a watch. |

Losing your phone contacts is the best. All those people you'll never have to call again.
I'd also recommend changing your number while you're at it. Just so they can't call you either.
Changing address, job and name are optional, but advised.

The Motos are decent enough phones. There are some ok cheap Sony's as well with perhaps better cameras

Hello. Last night I went to see Muse. Four stars. This is out of ten. Possibly out of 12. Not actually bad, as such, but if I’d had a book I’d have read it.
Tomorrow I’m off to see Macbeth. I’m taking a couple of guitars and a sound system, to be on the safe side.

Glad to see Sif getting some work in pokemans uk. Looks lovely.
Dota auto chess is out on iOS so I spent about an hour on that last night. It’s a bit shonky but you get the full fat experience, I played one game and absolutely battered them. Top stuff.
