Terrible weather in Sheffield with lots of deserted outdoor stages setup for docfest. I will sort out a Chinese on the way back and pick up some ales.
Not looking good for lawn mowing.

What do folk usually get from the Chinese?
We're usually Kung-pao chicken with steamed rice and char-sui chow mein.
I got Szechuan Chicken for a change last time as Mrs Crank said "I don't mind, you choose"
She actually meant "get Kung-pao chicken with steamed rice and char-sui chow mein" but I obviously misheard.

For takeaway, just a large combo starter followed by 1/4 of duck <edit>I too can order any 2 mains for an indian as long as one is chicken dhansak |

I have never met a Chinese takeaway I didn't like, but Mr T.R. is a fussy eater who doesn't like anything with nuts (no cashews, no satay sauce), prawns, chow mein (I only found that out after many years of ordering chow mein; not only does he expect me not to order anything he doesn't like but also be psychic about it), pineapple, ginger or sweetcorn. He does accept the "crispy fried chicken" and "sweet and sour pork (balls)" which are battered and deep fried affairs, tasty but not exactly healthy. Otherwise duck in plum sauce or beef in black bean sauce, usually with egg fried rice. Spare ribs are also acceptable. I also like the DIY shredded duck pancakes, but my food always gets cold as I have to assemble them for everyone else, so I tend to avoid them these days. Edit: or char siu, I'd forgotten about char siu. |

I've just inserted my cartridge into my console!
I mean I've just inserted the Zelda BOTW cartridge into my switch
It seems the last time I played it was the 27th December. My load file said 'Great plateau'. It seems I don't get far. Couldn't remember what was going on so restarted. This game has some sweet content. Not as sweet as Amipal of course, but sweet enough.
Climbing? Yeah!
Necking mushrooms? Yeah!
Running away from trouble? Yeah!
I also have Mario Kart, but I'm not racing against Bloggie. Sounds like he's got himself some sweet NZT.

Thanks to a couple of gentlefolk from this parish for some MarioKart fun last night. I finished last. Stupid game. If you’d like to join in: 4899-8052-2027 I'm a stingy (rather than stinky) peasant who didn't want to buy Mario Kart 8 for a second time. Maybe I should rethink this. Then you will no longer finish in last place, that much I can promise you. I'm always completely confused by the Discord layout. Did we end up with a general console username/friend codes/what have you spreadsheet and I just can't find it? I'm on 3927-5569-0967 and I need more friends. At least for gaming.
