Greeting 'boxers.
I was agonisingly close to winning PUBG last night, my brother and I stormed into the closing circle on Sanhok with 8 players left and we each killed a player before the only area left out of the storm was a small rock which two other players were hiding behind. One of those players subsequently killed by brother and instead of chucking a grenade and winning the thing I rushed in and died myself.

Is anyone here likely to take the plunge with Google Stadia? Free tier. Maybe. if you don't need their hardware. My Nvidia Shield TV box would run it. But if you're up against keyboard/mouse players you're fucked for MP. |

Yeah that's one of the drawbacks of it, competitive multiplayer games sees you play at a disadvantage which is putting me off. I think the amount of data needed might be an issue for people with monthly data caps too. Still, this could well be future of gaming if it's cheaper than console gaming next generation with Sony and Microsoft doing something similar.

Personal highlight was the last race of the evening. I slowed down to let Dom past me before hitting him with the old red shell opening up a lead he couldn't recover. I think I will mix up characters in the next races, shy guy is a bit cheaty. The smaller characters are easier to handle and have the best acceleration. Think the heavier characters are preferred overall, but they're a lot less forgiving to mistakes. Sure I read the best combo is wario on a bike, but bikes are crazy hard. |

Morning
Worving from home, as boss decided to takethe day off to go to that there London and climb the O2. Couldn't have picked a better day, what with storms and lightning forecast. Unfortunately the O2 roof webcam is down so I can't see his pair of smoking shoes. Oh well. Most of the rest of the office has taken a tactical sickie, after the goal-setting afterparty last night, which I swerved in favour of a chicken vindaloo.
Games! - Missus is out tonight so I am gonna fire up Effete Danglies, and put a few thousand light years behind me. Location wise, i'm still in the region known as 'The Abyss', but have pointed my nose at the galaxy and am heading back....
